Great camera for the price. Easy to install. Good picture. We have three cameras at different locations.

For the price it does what I need. Good clear pictures. can adjust resolution if I want to save bandwidth. Night vision is good. Advantage of movable camera is the night vision is focused in the center. Zoom is by pinching the screen ... not really zooming the camera. works good enough. The apps are different on every platform, so be careful.

Easy to setup. Day picture quality is good. Night picture quality is just ok for the price what you pay for a home surveillance camera

"I BOUGHT THE D-LINK CAMERA BECAUSE OF THE FACT THAT YOU COULD TILT AND PAN AROUND THE CAMERA....BUT AFTER I RAN IN TROUBLE TRYING TO HOOK THE CAMERA UP TO MY WI-FI EXTENDER I RAN INTO ALL KINDS OF PROBLEMS....!!! IF YOU HAVE ACCESS TO A ROUTER THIS CAMERA MAY BE GOOD FOR YOU. IF YOU DON'T HAVE ACCESS TO A ROUTER YOU MAY HAVE TO DO WHAT I DID AND GO WITH THE NEST CAMERA. I HAD THE D-LINK FIRST BUT HAD TO RETURN IT FOR THE NEST THE NEST WAS A SIMPLE ONE, TWO , THREE SETUP WITHOUT A ROUTER.....!!! STRICTLY WI-FI CONNECTION. I'M IN A BASEMENT APARTMENT AND THE LANDLORD HAS THE ROUTER UPSTAIRS AND I USE THE WI-FI CONNECTION SO THIS CAMERA SETUP WAS NOT FOR ME SINCE YOU HAVE TO USE THE ROUTER FOR SETUP.

We purchased the D-Link security camera so that we could see our new puppy while we are at work. We are notified when there's motion in the house, so we know when the puppy sitter arrives in leaves. It is great to be able to check on our puppy any time of the day with our iPhones.

The camera is clear, we purchased 2 for the front and back through the window our our home. I'd give it a 5 star if it wasn't for the software for them. The software has issues and they have to be reset if your electric flickers or goes out, overall all they work good, and I can talk to my dogs when I'm not home, they like that!

Good overall camera for home use. I was pleasantly surprised by the clarity of the picture in both lighted and low-light conditions

This is a good camera, took awhile to set up the first time. Had to return the fisrt one but the replacement has worked great

I bought this based on reviews from other sites. It is definitely good but I was able to find another camera that works very similar for a 1/3 the cost at another retailer. Best Buy does not carry that brand so I did not try to price match but honestly that is OK, I am keeping this one for other use anyway.

Easy to set up. I do wish there was more of a downward angle to view. Always connected and I do not have to reboot!

Camera works great. I love that you can cover a lot area with the pan feature. The streaming is not the best quality, however, when it is recording you are able to get HD quality. There are many options and features when you are logged into the admin site. My issues are D-Link's UI in the app and website. The controls for panning on the app are super sensitive to the point of one touch takes you to the opposite part of the room. I do like the fact it picks up sound and if you hook speakers you can get a two-way system going. Logging into the admin side allows you to do motion detection, sound detection, and time scheduled recording. I am overall satisfied with this product.

I keep my camera over the front door so I know who comes into my home while I'm on a business trip. I can't get the push notification to work without it alerting me for every movement my cat makes but other than that I would recommend this over a cheaper version from another store. My favorite option of this camera is that I can talk to the people I see and also hear them talk back.. it's a little delayed on a slower Internet connection but otherwise great feature.

Be sure to follow set up instructions step by step! Camera works great and really like the color during daylight and night vision it offers for pitch black conditions. I can look in on the house/pets while away and the built in mic/speaker is great for saying hi to the dogs or freaking the wife out when she least expects it! I would buy another if I had the need for it!

After only 24 hours of use, I knew this particular camera was not going to deliver on its promises. There were several issues, e.g the pan-and-tilt was (a) slow to respond and (b) really unnecessary if you get a HD camera with the correct lens. The D-Link image was mediocre. However, the most glaring problem for me was the fact that it required an external speaker to be plugged into the side of the camera before there could be voice communication between sites. I found the wording on the box cover to be misleading, and felt the manufacturer should have been more transparent. Best Buy characteristically accepted my return with no hassle, and I purchased from them the DropCam product (now owned by Nest), which I should have done to begin with, and am now completely satisfied. They only had one DropCam in stock (which suggests they are popular), so I went to a nearby city to purchase two more. I suggest they always keep several in stock.

Nice picture, clear sound (when using their apps or directly accessing the camera). A little slow on the reaction time to move the tilt manually, but overall a very good camera. I really didn't play with the recording functions much. I tried to integrate it into my system by connecting to the camera directly without using their servers and apps. Video worked perfectly, but the sound was transmitted in a format that wasn't compatible and I had to return it. With all the functionality and options this camera comes with, its a shame the audio wasn't a little more compatible. My wife didn't like the color scheme much and wished it was a solid color, but I personally didn't care as I am more of a function over form kind of a person.

Does the job works well somewhat easy set up good product

This is my third of the 5222L, and my fourth Dlink camera. These are easy to use, and work with.

Overall this is a good camera. The app is easy to use and the website is too. The UI for the settings is not as easy to navigate, but there are lots of settings you can customize and it is a very good quality camera that was compatible with my SmartThings hub.
