    This item is very nice. Only complaint I have is you are not able to speak and hear. You can only do one or the other. That's not really practical but it works for the most part.

    Wasted 3 hours of my life trying to get these set up. Wanted a cam to watch my pets and pet sitter that would pan. I am tech savy and this was a nightmare. The cam would never connect even after following all instructions explicitly over and over and pushing the rest button with a paper clip as last result. Still did not work. Bought belkin cams they are way easier to set up and work well. Not the way I wanted to spend my time pre vacation. It was very stressful and the cam was pricy.

    The D-Link Cloud Camera DCS-5222L security camera was extremely easy to set up. The video quality is very clear I have not had any issues with the camera losing its connection,

    Simple to Setup. App works well. Stores clips from your motion sensor to a memory card. You can talk back from the app and move the camera around from the app. The cat loves it. Very cool.

    Good, basic laptop for everyday home or student use. Easy to configure. Outstanding order process. I ordered it wednesday morning, took free shipping option, and it arrived thursday afternoon. Easier than going to the store.

    I have been using this camera for almost 3 months. it has good features: Easy to set-up, good mobile/internet access, two-way communication, etc. weaknesses: the software does not allow to select bottom/top right corner patch; motion detection sensitivity setting is not robust for day and night time lighting. it produces too many false alarms that disqualifies this product for security use.

    Such a great tool to use as a baby monitor. I gifted it to my son for his birthday to watch his new baby when he's at work because he misses her and the camera is great. You can scroll the camera via your mobile devise remotely. Another great aspect is you can speak into your mobile phone and the sound comes out of the camera speaker, so your baby can hear you during the day. We are going to get another 1 or 2 for our home so that my husband can make sure our home is safe and our cats are okay while we are away during the day.

    I was so excited when I bought this camera. I used it inside my house because I wanted to spy on my dogs. I have one that is paralyzed and so I wanted to watch her when I am at school, just to make sure everything is okay back at home. I set up the camera and downloaded all of the required programs. The set up was fairly easy, yet the camera would not find my device, which is an iPhone 5. I must of searched for the camera to find my device at least 10 times before I tried on my laptop, which is a MacBook. Again, I downloaded the programs and searched for my device. Nothing. I tried on my other MacBook Pro and still nothing. The package clearly states that it works on Mac and PC. So my fiance tried on his Andriod phone and in two seconds, it was able to find his device and we were watching the live cam on his phone. The picture quality was fairly good and we had fun with adjusting the viewing modes. So the camera worked but almost everything I have is Mac, so I decided to return the camera because it was no use to me. I know we did everything right to set up the camera with my Mac devices, it just would never find the devices. I was very upset.

    I had a older ip camera I got 3 years ago of another brand. This D-Link has a much better image and I like the pan and tilt too.

    I purchase this cam to help monitor my living room while I was away on vacation. This camera was in addition to some FosCams that I had connected to the same network. I could not get a reliable connection with the Dlink camera, where I had near flawless connection with the FosCams. The software on my Andorid for the Dlink camera was kind of buggy and slow.     I'm very disappointed with this product. It has a good picture, but it doesn't perform as expected. The packaging clearly states that this product is compatible with Apple computers. It is NOT. All of the extra features that you have paid a premium for will only work with a windows computer. Don't waste your money. Buy the cheaper model. I will be taking this back to the store.

    The tech support help us over the phone .... We couldn't linked the camera to the IP address ...duh!!!! Help desk right away told us to temporarily shut down our firewall while linked it...and BOOM it worked!
