This product says that it is wireless, but it does actually require cables from the camera installation point back to your internet box. The wireless is only true of the apps to monitor the camera.

Very nice security camera for the price

Difficult to Set up, Quality 3/5
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.As an IT professional who has set up enterprise network hardware, the procedure to set up this webcam should be relatively easy, but the actual ability for the device to pair with the network was difficult as it failed to pair with the network even when directly next to the Access Point. If they fix that problem, the device would be marginally useful. Overall, I would go with another solution as this one misses the mark.

It took me awhile to figure out where they were coming from. After trial and error got it working. Neat thing is that it sees infrared images that sort of float around and then zip away. HMMMM.

Good camera

I located the # on line and they were very helpful. After talking with DLink ibhad the camera set up in 5 minutes. Now that it is hooked up. I really like it.

Turned out to be a mislabeling issue on their end and was immediately resolved, ever since then it's functioned normally.

I can't find direction to turn picture right way up.

Great once set up

I'm pleased with it. The problem is that the directions which come with it are far from clear. A techie expert I know from my place of employment couldn't fathom their directions either. My advice is to be prepared to be on the phone with their customer service for a couple of hours when you set this up. Also use a version of Internet Explorer that is not coming they a Windows 8 icon. The end results are worth the hassle.

Do not buy

Every single time I need them they are down. Storm in the area, try to check the cameras, only 1 of the 3 is working, so it's not my Wi-fi. This happens every time it's critical. Get home, they work just fine. Leave again, they're ok, until it's critical again, they always seem to not work when it's crritical.

Solid Camera that works with SmartThings

Firmware is updated regularly, and the camera functions very well in low-and-no light situations. Solid purchase for the price.

Therefore, you will be able to listen to the surroundings of the camera and you are able to send audio from a microphone connected to your PC to the speakers connected to the camera.

Poor night vision
