Good Camera with one Major Flaw
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.This is a good Pan and Tilt Camera. The setup was fairly easy. There was one small glitch with the setup. When selecting the setup file to download the first option was not for the camera I purchased. The second option worked just fine. The camera picture is very clear. This probably the most import part of any camera. I used the manual method of displaying the camera on my browser as opposed to using the Mycloud option. This was nice that Dlink supplied this without making you jump through hoops to do it. The pan and tilt functions worked ok. Now for the Major issue and the reason I'm returning the camera. The zoom feature. The product says it has a 10X zoom. When I tried to use this feature it returned a box saying that it only works with IE (internet explorer). I have another computer with that installed I fired it up and used the zoom. The picture got bigger just like a zoom but it lost clarity. Then I noticed my first computers picture didn't change. Then it hit me. This is not a zoom at all. It just made the display bigger on the IE browser. There is no zoom to this camera. This is the main reason I spent the extra money.
