With the help of technical support from Mr. Ford (AR004620) and the reestablinging of the workings of the system through code C6721805, there is no reason that I can see ffor not continuing with the D-Link system for future camers.

I can't seem to stress how easy it was to set up especially for someone not super tech savvy such as myself. The night vision function is pretty neat and quite frankly, the motion sensor gives me peace of mind that the camera has been working seamlessly without any interruptions even when I'm not staring at it --if that makes any sense. I also like how it can pan so that's a cool utility the camera has --especially when I'm away from home fidgeting around on the cloud app that comes with it. It also does a fairly decent job at zooming. The picture quality is pretty clear, but that's what I expected when I was looking for an HD camera. On that note, the video recording quality is 720 too and you can program it to start recording whenever you want. Overall, I'm fairly happy with my purchase, especially for the price.

Ed (C6747863) with customer service was excellent and patient. He helped me get through resetting the camera and getting it reconnected.

Every enjoyable and easy set up
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.When I open and read how to set it up it was overwhelming but what I did is I called 1-800 and they were very helpful to walk me though each step on how to set it up and waited till I hung it up on the wall. I want to buy 2 more. As soon as I see them go on sale at Bust Buy I will be getting them

Very Cool!

The salesman told me it would be good for that. I installed it, am using it now, but after going online and looking, it says it's for INDOOR use. Now, I have to go back up there on my roof, get it down and take it back. I wanted the ability to move the camera remotely in all directions. If this one would be ok with rain (this IS Oregon) and snow and ice, I'd keep it, but if it can't stand that, what's the point? Ugh.

Called Dlink to get help and the help was detailed, thorough and outstanding. They did not ask for registration information, just got the job done. Operator AR004627 is the one that helped me and she was fantastic!

I bought 2 of these cameras and he walked me through the set up in quick time. Hooked me up on our 2 phones, PC, etc. Very knowledgeable, mannerly gentleman. 5 stars all the way:)

Not happy
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.We bought this camera.because we were told that it also uploads pictures/videos on the cloud. Not true. Even worse, we asked this via email to dlink and we are still waiting for an answer. After a few days we bought a card. Configuration is not that easy. The app sucks and an update of the firmware ia required here and there otherwise there will be thousands of emails/notifications with false motion detections: at that point you won't believe a motion happened and therefore the camera itself is useless. When it works, it's a good camera.
