I bought a new Mac and paid the Squad to transfer my data to the new Mac. I learned after first try, that on the Request Form you must stipulate each and every little thing you want transferred. I had listed browser history to be transferred, but apparently that didn't include my Bookmarks. Had to return and get those transferred, by making an Appointment, but at least I did not have to leave the new Mac over night. The guys (3) I dealt with were all real nice, and good at customer service. (I had kept my old hard drive and let them recycle the old Mac; I recommend retaining the hard drive, or the follow up could not have been done.)

The technician who helped us was extremely knowledgeable and answered all questions we had and then some, very happy we are able to retrieve data from a broken laptop onto our new Macbook! Excellent customer service.

It was truly a great help to get data from my old computer set up. I had a great and easy experience with my data transfer. I had a peace of mind knowing the squad tech would handle my concerns.

Needed to transfer my pictures to a memory stick so that the Geek Squad could fix my laptop. They did it all in no time and I had my laptop back in 3 days and it still works great

This is the second time I’ve had Best Buy transfer data on my computer. The employee helping me was very professional and took the time to go over my needs. Was impressed with the service.

I had an old laptop die with a ton of files stored on it they were able to retrieve all the files and put them on a storage drive...everything I was asking for...can't beat that

My computer was about 20 years old! No kidding. Best Buy transferred all my data without a hitch and I can retrieve it without too much of a problem. I'm not a computer whiz.

Very easy and complete transfer of data so that new computer could use all info from old computer, so the new computer was ready and operational immediately.

Geek squad did a excellent job in doing what they said they would, however, I think I got lost in the shuffle. a few phones and one visit to the store all was taken care of.

Geek Squad at the King of Prussia, PA location gave me great service on transferring my data from my old iMac to a external hard drive. They also were able to back up my photos too.

I had to leave my old computer with the new computer to transfer data. I was told it would be done in 2-3 days. They had it done in 1 day. They did a great job! Great service! Thank you...

I dumped water on my old laptop and they saved my entire hardrive and put it on a new computer for me in the same organization system I previously had. They were life savers!

I am very pleased with this data transfer service. Very simple. Apple store would have refused to do this without us present for the entire time given the age of our old computer.

So in the past I have pretty much had the worst customer service from the Geek Squad at other locations. So when I went in with a problem I was over whelmed by the amazing customer service. Honestly I feel like we only use The Geek Squad when we are having problems and usually we arrive already mad so I am sure they see their fair share of bad attitudes from customers. I walked in an before i even go to the counter i was greeted and asked how they could help. I didnt have an appointment or anything, I just showed up. I was helped fast and was out the door with what I needed. The Gilroy team is AMAZING!!!!!

Needed to have a complete data transfer from an older laptop to a new laptop. Price was fair and the data transfer was complete as promised. Had both laptops back in less then 24 hours. Good job Geek Squad

Geek Squad techs are Awesome. Quickly transferred info from old laptop to new, answered all my questions and even took the time to review all the changes in programs. I trust them and they never fail.

Used the service several times. Quality was great, and work completed quickly. I have recommended the service contract to friends and family members. I recently renewed my contract for a second year.
