Geek squad performed a data backup on my MacBook Pro on a smooth, quick and professional manner as part of my annual computer subscription...highly recommended!!!

I had an all in one computer that would no longer boot up but they were able to get the information off of the computer for me saved on to a flash drive where I thought there was no hope

When our desktop died, we had Best Buy do a data recovery and transfer to our new computer. Everything transferred and it was done in a relatively short time.

This service was absolutely great as the Geek Squad was able to retrieve and backup my data prior to resetting my hard drive to factory setting and reinstalling Windows 10 and related programs.

When I had purchased a previous laptop from Best Buy, I had gotten a data backup from Geek Squad at the time. Seeing as it was time to have to get a new laptop, I was planning on paying the $100 to have my data transferred again. To my surprise, they were running a deal for a free data transfer with purchase of a laptop. Score! I decided to also bring along a 2nd old laptop of mine and planned on just paying the $100 I originally planned on spending to get both laptops backed up. I was pleasantly surprised when they guy told me they would do both under the free promo. All of my data was backed up and all of the people I dealt with were professional and very nice.

Bryan's download of my old files, and help installing programs that gave me features not included in Windows 10 was smooth, and a tremendous help to me in using my new computer effectively.

The agents transferred all files off my computer that crashed and would not boot up. This was done before HP has to reinstall the windows 10 operating system.

What was formerly included in the purchase of a new computer is now an extra ($140) charge. I consider this excessive. The low rating is only based on this issue; the transfer was totally satisfactory.

They transferred everything exactly the way I had hoped (maybe even the bugs and issues from my old laptop lol). I would definitely use this service in the future if the need arose.

My computer was really diseased from malware but I avoided buying a new one by the good work provided by the Geek Squad. My family signed up for 3 years care for our three household computers.

The data transfer was completed timely and within the time frame I was given by the Geek Squad rep. I have not yet verified that everything was transferred but am in the process of doing so.

did an excellent job transferring info from old hard drive but i need to take old tower back to get them to destroy hard drive and get rid of tower. excellent ppl in geek squad

Bought a new laptop because my old one didn’t work anymore and couldn’t be fixed. I had geek squad transfer all my data to the new laptop.

The geek squad was very helpful in defining my problem with my computer and backing up the data so I could store and not lose information that I may need to look up at a later date.

As always the geek squad staff help so much. They helped me with my previous laptop and they transferred everything and made sure everything was on my new computer and I left very satisfied.
