All data files were transferred to my new desktop in alphabetical order with a backup folder. Also copied my favorite addresess in order too.

I had a lot of photos on an old computer and the motor died. They were able to retrieve everything from the old hard drive. I was very glad.

E:mail was a real problem. Supposedly everything was transferred from my old hard drive to the hard driver of the newly purchased computer for Windows Live Mail 2012. My contacts and saved messages could not be found. I went back to the Geek Squad twice and the problems were not fully resolved. I was told to call the 800 number and have one of the Geeks take remote control of my computer and get E:mail set up properly. This person found the contacts and saved messages and the e:mail is usable but is not working the way I would like it to work.

The rep who took care of me suggested to send my computer to the manufacturer, saving me thus $250. Then explained thoroughly how this was to work. very courteous staff!

The backup from my old iPad to my new one was performed without any problems. The staff was very professional and it was performed much faster than the estimated time.

Fixed my operating system. Could have lost all my information but they saved it from my hard drive, reinstalled the operating system, and downloaded all my saved files back to my computer. The only thing they didn't do was save my web sites, but that's small compared to getting my computer back in great shape. Make an appointment so you don't have to wait and when you get there, make sure you let the attendant knows you have an appointment (I didn't do that and waited longer than I should have). Otherwise, great service!

The data recovery team was able to retrieve my data after the in store geek squad team could not. I appreciate everyone's help and knowledge in getting my data back.

Agents transfer everything from my old phone to my new phone

Data was backed up efficiently and quickly. Transfer from crashed drive to new drive with no loss of data.

It switches MOST things from your old computer to the new one, but not everything. Games and such must be redownloaded anyway. It takes a few days for it to be done in which you will have neither computer. And if you wished to do it yourself, it could all be done with a flashdrive, but it would be repetitive, long, and boring. Good for those who don't want to do it themselves, have the money, and have a lot of documents or pictures you don't want to accidentally leave behind.

The geek squad techs are awesome. They transferred all my information from my damaged laptop to the new one with no problems.
