Really nice young lady and man helped me transfer data from my old hard drive to my new computer. I think it all worked out and I'm thankful for their patience.

Purchased data backup / transfer when got new HP Spectre laptop. Old Asus computer crashed and Best Buy will try to get all of files out of computer.

Original estimate from the appointment phone service was not upfront. Being an engineer, I ensured that I was specific in questions. Additional fees were not quoted. Geek Squad came out and added additional quotes for efforts discussed on with phone service. Ended up taking new iMac to store for data transfer for free with new purchase. The actual Geek Squad service was great as always, but the phone service is inadequate.

Well worth the cost to seamlessly move all your files from your old machine to your new machine. They went above and beyond to make sure I was pleased.

It is so nice to have a I pad to catch up on the latest in a few minutes, no matter where I am or who I am with. I am never in the dark about what is happening with family, friends or business associates. I can even update my information when siting in the car or on my way to church. Of course I have someone driving me. The staff at Best Buy became my friends, were so efficient and Knowledgeable and friendly. What I thought would be a long learning curve happened much more rapidly for me than I thought! I would not purchase my techie items anywhere else. My husband and I have used Best Buy for many years and have never been disappointed! Thanks!

This is something I can't do and they do it vary well at a great price that is why I get this service.

Data was recovered from a balky laptop computer with no loss.

Used the Geek Squad to download info from old computer to new one. It was so easy and they did a great job. Plus now I can call them with questions etc. They are the BEST.

The geek squad transferred all my photos and documents from my old computer to my portable hard drive

I was unable to transfer any files from my failing HD to a portable HD. But the Geek Squad was able to get 90% of my valuable date.

My old computer became toast and a geek squad was able to remove all the information from my hard drive and install it on my new computer

the ability for data backup/transfer to occur w/ any service is kind of non-negotiable, in this day and age. Geek Squad eases and guides you as to what is needed.

They did a great job, in just a couple of days. Only issue I had was getting the computer to except my modem number. They offered some suggestions, and I eventually got it figured out.
