My computer was having issues so the Geek Squad did a backup then fixed my computer and transferred..all is well.

I applaud the Geek Squad. The agents were very helpful and courteous. They were able to capture all my data from my old laptop and transfer it to the new one.

The Geek Squad is always great, helpful, answers all my questions, explains what they are going to do and then what they did.

Saved a lot of time and hassle having Geek Squad do the data transfer.

Data transfer done according to specifications. Only down side was it took 2 days longer than the maximum time quoted by salesman.

It was reassuring to know that if our PC could not be fixed, that at least we had all of our data available to transfer to another computer.

I lost access to information on my hard drive but the Geek Squad was able to save it to an external hard drive and I could load the information on another computer.

The Geek Squad worked very hard to back up my data and transfer it to my new PC. They would not give up even thought there were a few technical issues.

Straight forward service. Saved vital info off of hard drive after PC basically broke down for good. Delivered saved data ahead of estimated timeframe.

So nice to not lose pictures and files from my older pc Yes it did take over 24 hours to complete but worth the wait to have them do it

I had already spent an extra $200 to buy the additional warranty in case anything happened to the computer. So, when something happened to the USB port, we took the computer back and were told that we now had to spend an extra $100 for the back up or risk that when our laptop was sent off, the repair center would replace the hard drive without consulting us first and all info would be lost. I felt like I just had to keep spending money so that Best Buy would do what they had already sold me. Super frustrating for someone who spends the kind of money that we do there...

It took a little longer than I thought it would, 4 days total. But once done I had all my data from the previous hard drive.

As a very senior citizen, I did not grow up with computers.. Therefore, knowing all the procedures to back up and transfer files was new to me. Thanks Geek Squad!

My "Geek" was amazing. He helped me out of a very difficult situation. I needed the data that was on a hard drive that had died a few months ago. He calculated how much data I had to be transferred and I bought the appropriate thumb drive. I picked up the computer the next day and he told me he miscalculated and gave me an upgraded drive for free! I wouldn't hesitate to recommend the Geek Squad.

The agents put my package together and so far, I have been very pleased!
