Geek Squad tansferred all my data to my new computer

great friendly service by Geek Squad the only issue was going to buy my own part so they could fix it.

My last computer was used on construction sites, it held up well ,but it was time for a new one. Data transfer went smoothly

All files and data were transferred and organized well on my new computer. Rep did a great job explaining everything and I left confident that all was well.

This is one time to leave it to the experts. The value of the data potentially lost during transfer far exceeds the cost of having Geek Squad do it for you.

This is a great idea if you have things like taxes you need transferred or backed up and you're not sure how to do it. The geek squad is always great help!!

Transferring of the data from my old laptop was complete.

Buying a new computer meant moving all the data from the old one to the new one. Rather than do it myself , I trusted the Geek Squad to do it. It went smoothly.

I have yet to have my data transferred from my old computer. I like that I can choose a time best for me to complete this process

The transfer was completed ahead of schedule and the technician spent time working with me on understanding what was the status of the items transferred.

The geek squad did a wonderful job saving my precious data. I have a great deal of genealogy information whuch I didn;t want to loose. I salute the Geek Squad.

At the Fort Myers Store #431, I dealt with Karly, Natasha, Richard and Kerry and others that I did not get their names. I was impressed with their pleasant attitude, attention to detail and their explanations (that I could understand) of the services they performed on my PC's.

The agent was efficient, friendly and finished the transfer ahead of the estimated time!

P:urchasing this over the net was a NIGHTM ARE !! Your geek squad needs a tune up. I was promised on the phone that this unit would be stet up while I waited, only to be told, after I made an appointment that it would take several days to get it back. The set up was not performed to my satisfaction. I am still working on getting my contacts into my email program. They did not transfer my Norton 360 to the new unit . It also did not com with any sort of "rescue disc" to restart W 7 if I have a melt down . Overall I would rate you service as a 2 on a scale of 1 to 10.

I had compared prices for this microwave at Lowe's Home Center and it was $20. more there...Best Buy agent had me in & out with my purchase loaded in my car in just a few minutes.

Geek Squad did a data transfer for me when I purchased a new desktop computer. Everything worked smoothly and the data transfer was completed without any problems.

Recovered lost data on an old computer--brought back many memories.

I went to Geek Squad for a diagnosis on why my computer wasn't booting up and freezing at start up as soon as the store opened in the morning. After trying to sell me a 3 year protection/service plan for $249.99 with no guarantees that they would be able to fix/repair iit and cost of additional parts that may need, I opted for a new computer. The new computer had file and data transfer included with the purchase and done at the same time. Good idea saves time and additional trips to the store. The Geek Squad people prompting took my old computer and new computer in to complete the file/data transfer. I was told that it would take three days to complete, fortunately I was able to pick it up the next day. When I got home and began to go back to work, I noticed that all my files and data wasn't transferred to the new computer. They only transferred the files on the desktop and not on the hard drive. Instead of taking it back for more delays in hope that they do the job correctly this time, I opted to purchase an external USB hard drive enclosure online from a different retailer. Two days later after receiving the enclosure, I was able to transfer all the files/data myself and insured the job was done right this time.
