They failed to do what they were supposed to do. The internal hard drive was working when it taken to Best Buy. I brought along an external drive which might not have been working. The agent who called me insisted that I had told them that the internal drive was non functional. WRONG!!! They were also supposed to install Office 365. They messed that up requiring me to make at least 3 return trips,

I was worried that some data would not transfer from my windows 7 to the new windows 10 but it was all there. They did a great job.

I purchased the back up data plan at BestBuy so I wouldn't loose my pictures and important documents when I purchased a new computer and I was glad I did!

My Experience with the Data Backup with Geek Squad in a Word "Horrific". They ended up loosing my Bag of Disks I gave them and "NO" one would take responsibility or was held accountable and they even tried saying I never gave them the Disks to begin with, then they said I lost them after they gave them back to me. I asked to review the Security Footage with them showing me giving them the Disks, at first I was told to come in and Review it with the Manager, then I was told I was not allowed. As if they were trying to hide something. It was a total Nightmare.Don't forget I am paying for this Service, almost ($80.00) Then of course they had my PC for about a Month. Then after I explained in Detail to the Agent what needed to be Transferred to the New PC of Course that did not happen. I had to make at least 4 to 5 separate trips to the store because of their mistakes. Then each time at the store with GeekSquad I stayed for at least 3 to 4 hours. Most times until the Store Closed. I really want to say something positive about this Experience. The only thing I can think of was that I did meet an Agent that tried his best to take care of my needs. He seemed to go above and beyond the call of his Duties and really make and effort to reach out and make me feel Comfortable and try to Help with Everything. To be Honest that really is not enough to make up for all the rest of the Negative effects that I Experienced, which is a shame. Because I have been a Customer of BestBuy and GeekSquad for over 15 years.

I needed a hard disc pumped to a new laptop after the motherboard failed on my old machine. All was taken care without a hitch.

After purchasing the new computer, I needed to have data transferred from one to the other. This was done within a day! Geek Squad did a great job!!
