I have been a Best Buy customer for many years mainly because of the high quality service from the Geek Squad.

Bought a new computer and wanted to transfer data and pictures from old computer to new. did a great job in saving data.

The data transfer was very important to me. My computer crashed and I really needed the data. They were able to retrieve it all.

They did a good job transferring my pc to my new Mac. I had over 1K pics. They had to explain where to find them, but overall I was very satisfied.

Due to a hard drive failure and replacement I purchased this service to have my data restored. I am a huge fan of Geek Squad, although Im not loving the new format of by appointment only. Running between kid events I was at the store 20 min early, to pick up my fixed computer. They wouldn't take me as they had another appointment coming in 15 min. So, for 20 min we stood and looked at each other until my appointment was called. However, my data was restored so I am thankful and pleased.

I brought 2 laptops to Geek Squad; one to do a backup. The tech had it ready when promised with no issues.

You might think of having your personnel in the store ask customers if they are going to need help in connecting their new computer. I did not think about this and I got my new computer home and then stopped and thought - I don't know where these cords go. Fortunately I have a neighbor who did. My late husband was a techie and I did not have to think about these things but now I do. Overall I had a good experience in buying this computer.

My PC would not restart after a Windows 10 update. Best Buy recovered all of my data and restored my machine to proper operation.

I took my laptop in to have it backed up on a hard drive so I could send it in to be fixed. The backup was great and I had my laptop back quickly.

it surprised me that amount of data was saved even though had to reinstall my printer.= a minor problem

Good service with the transfer but it was pricey and we had to bring it in and pick it up. The store is 35 miles away.
