Can not say enough about the service.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I took my old Windows HP IN for service and decided that a new laptop was preferable over easter egging to maybe repair it. After a few days I returned to Best Buy and purchased a HP laptop with a solid state hard drive and then had the Geek Squad set it up with a copy of Microsoft Office Home and Student 2010 that I had and since the hard drive of the old laptop could be read had the files transferred. I especially liked the notifications I got letting me know the status of the work.

Had issues after

They did that but now we are having issues with something they transferred and they refuse to help us unless we now pay for the $200 Geek Squad after already paying the $80 transfer fee. Not happy about that. You should back up what you did!

Great Service

What i found was that they didn’t move my outlook data and the new system was unusable in outlook. I took it to the Apple Valley store and Wade work for 4 hours to get all my data migrated. He was amazing and really sacred the day for me!!!!

Computer now runs like a champ. The apps continue to run well since the upgrade, and from what I can see, all of my data successfully survived the transfer. All of the work was completed on time and at the agreed upon cost, and the computer's running faster than ever. Thank you Geek Squad.
