Loved the geek squad. But, thank goodness when we picked up the new computer the geek squad sat down with us to assign folders etc. Never wood have known how to find what they transferred.

My old, dead computer was unresponsive; I could not get my data off to save. The GeekSquad transferred the data, via magic, onto my new HP in no time at all! All was saved. They were courteous and efficient. I love 'em.

I had a lot of stuff on my hard drive that I didn't want to lose, and when I found out that they could take it all off and then reload it after they wiped my system I was relieved. They know their stuff!

I haven't bought a laptop in a while. I normally pay someone to backup my data and transfer to a new computer. It was great to be able to have it done with the Geek Squad. I didn't know it could be so easy and complete.

I had brought my old broken laptop to the equalizer two extract my import data that I was unable to recover on my own. They did it quickly, maybe 29 minutes and everything I needed was saved!

backed up docs, downloads, videos, program files, pictures and other important info which was great to have back after reinstallation of windows 10. I did have to reinstall programs lost. I would use their service again.

The Geek squad made it hassle free for us to have to download all of our files. They have helped us in the past and won't go anywhere else. We bought an hp computer and love it. Easier to use and less expensive than our old one from 6 years ago.

Had to use this option when I sent out laptop for repairs. Repair center able to restore and backup files prior to servicing computer. I had to provide my own external drive for this service.

have taken several computers into geek squad over the years. enjoy the thorough service but the turnaround time is never quick enough. if you have time to wait, go with geek squad. if youre in a rush, find a local

I had a problem with my old computer and GS sent it to Memphis for repair . Not repairable when I got my new computer, (The Asus), the data transfer went smoothly and in less time that we thought.

I had no data to restore but they tried their best regardless!

Agents transfered data for old laptop to new one..Had it done in said amount of time. Will use them again.

I'm not overwhelmed and ecstatic with the transfer but it did save me a lot of time and hassle if I were to do it myself. Couple of things that I was disappointed with; first was they did not re-activate or notify me that my Windows 10 would need to be reactivated on my new computer so now I have to contact Microsoft and find out how I can activate it. Second is that the files/documents were scattered and not in the exact location that they were in before they transferred them. So I had to do some hunting and relearning of where they all were.

My Mac is really old and I could not figure out how to transfer the data myself to an external drive. Best Buy made that easy and did it for me. Thank you

Bought a new dell xps. My old dell xp finally died after 10 years. Geek Squad backed up all my files and pictures and transferred them to the new computer. Happy to say everything is there on my new machine.

When I purchased my new computer, I asked Geek Squad to back up the data from my old computer on to my external hard drive and also transfer the data onto the new one. Technicians were polite and helpful.

The geek squad people were exceptional at servicing my computer and transffering my data from 2 PC’s to my new Mac. Very professional and understanding locating my missing files and get them to my new computer.

Service at the desk was prompt as well as the transfer of data from old to new computer. Explanation of information was specific and very helpful. Personnel didn't pressure sell anything.
