This is a great service, no problems , great service and made the transitions to our new computers easier. I did this a few years ago and it was so great, so helpful that I plan to always use this service from Best Buy

Used this option so my fiancé wouldn't have to and it would save time and patience. Personally, I feel it's worth the $80 to switch over everything, especially since my old laptop was 10 years old. It was done within a day.

Took my laptop in for repair and asked for it to be backed up prior to shipping it off. It came back with no repairs done and no access to any backups. To add insult to injury, when I did take it to a reputable shop and got it repaired, we found out the SSD had been removed and was wiped clean while it was under BB's possession. The dates on the system can prove it. 3 weeks with BB and a crappy explanation, that "the parts were no longer available." They didn't even say what part, but they could wipe my drive. 1 week at a reputable repair shop and my laptop it up and running by just replacing the motherboard. I wouldn't let the Geek Squad replace batteries in a flashlight. I'll never buy another laptop from BB. Do not waste your money with the Geek Squad!

I needed to transfer my data from the windows laptop to the new MacBook, so they did and they did it fast too. They explained to me the two options and how/where to find everything.

Wonderful job transferring data from a laptop to external drive. When I got home I looked through the files and found everything was there and I was able to access it all with no problems at all.

The agent did my document transfers very well and with ease.

The agents installed all my data from my old computer, to my new Apple computer in no time, and because I’m a Total Tech subscriber, it cost me nothing!!

When i purchased my new pc they did a great job transferring my files and data on to my new pc's desktop.

they did a good job of backing up data, but it really should be part of the service when you sign up for their yearly geek squad program. They charge way too much for data transfer/backup.

Kind of expensive to have them transfer music and pictures while they worked on my desktop. I could of done it myself but then I would have to book another appointment and wait.

Needed data backed up from an old laptop the finally crashed. Wasn't looking good for me, but they were able to pull quite a bit off. All our photos and music. So appreciated. Would definitely use them again.

With a new SSD I had the Geek Squad transfer [clone] my old hard drive to the new one. Good decision and fast work, even though it was during the holiday season they took care of it quickly and with no issues.

Very helpful and knowledgeable. Unit was ready before the promised time.

The geek squad has helped so many times on many items. Recently they transferred our data while our lap top was getting fixed. We picked Lao top up with our data back good as new Customer service was excellent

Everything i could hope for. I upgraded my Macbook to an M! Macbook pro and they took care of everything.

This was as easy as can be! I purchased a new MacBook Pro on a Sunday afternoon and all of my files were transferred to my new computer by Monday morning at 11:00am. Couldn't have been simpler to accomplish.

You'd think Best Buys Geek Squad would know what they could and couldn't service in their own store. The old hard drive quit and I brought my back up in to have it transferred over to e new one. They took my money but later said they couldn't work with WD Cloud Drives and apparently didn't have the skills to get anything off the old drive either. Nice people out in front though, they did try a few things to get a USB port to work (also failed in that). So, the only thing they succeeded at was putting in a hard drive and installing Win10, which I provided.
