Defective out of box

The Geek that called to tell me implied that I didn’t purchase the warranty and I thought “where are you going with this? It was defective in the box!” They did replace it but just odd way to go about it.

Then the Geek Squad exchanged it and transferred all of the information to a new computer.

I have not had a chance to really explore and ensure that all of my programs and documents transferred and are easily accessible. So far things are good except for a box with a small green box with lines are sitting in the middle of my screen. I can not move it.
