Poor empty machine!

I "paid" for a complete data back-up and when I bought this new machine the transfer was not able to be accomplished by the geek of the day, so I have this new machine without any of my old data, which dated back to 2002 and I am NOT a happy customer. I feel I have been defrauded and am weighing my options.

False Sales Price

The sales price listed on the computer did not match the price at the register. 3 sales persons could not get the sales price on the register. This is the second time this has happened in 2 yrs at this location. Best Buy hopes the customer doesn't realize they are overpaying at the register compared to the sales price listed.

It won’t boot up and says it needs to be repaired. None of the software options correct the problem. The Boot Configuration Data file does not contain valid information for an operating system.

Avoid Trade In

Geek Squad is terrible

I took it into Geek squad 3 times & scheduled a home install. It was a 3 week wait on the home install & geek squad cancelled appointment at 8 pm the nigh prior to scheduled install.
