Its a great computer, i'm actually an architecture student and this computer its enough for the programs I need to use, it still works as good as when i bought it five months ago, so far so good.

We purchased this for my son for his college coursework and gaming. He’s very happy with it’s performance as he had been using a PS4 for fortnite.So far no complaining so he’s happy and we are happy to. Fair price as well

Decided to try this laptop out because I had the ASUS ROG Strix G531GT which had the 1650. I wanted a better laptop with a better battery life and thought the Dell G5 G5590 7176BLK would be a better upgrade for the price. While the setup was easy quick, the laptop seemed to have audio problems. Windows notification sounds were delayed, and the CPU fans kept on going on and off at full speed even when the laptop was on idle. I was curious on what was causing those speeds, and it turns out the CPU temp was jumping between 60-90C on idle. I thought maybe a BIOS update and updated drivers would help solve the issue, but it did not. It actually made my experience with the laptop even worst. The fans still kept on spinning randomly, and the worst part was the WiFi card started to have slow speeds. I used to get 18mbps before the updates, and after it was just at 1mbps. I tried restarting the computer and nothing changed. Build quality is really good and sturdy. The weight adds to the "premium" feel. The graphics card is nice and works just as it should, but be aware that it is the Max-Q variant. The laptop boots up fast and starts applications really quick. I just don't understand why updates would diminish the performance of the WiFi adapter. I'm going to be returning this laptop. Maybe I just had a defective one.

I had the g3 and ended up trading it in for this one, it’s a huge different. It’s heavier but the build is so much more superior, it actually feels like a gaming laptop . Would recommend this to anyone !

I find myself enjoying the laptop more than I thought. It's swift and can multiple games but does get a bit hot with recent titles. Also, I use the computer for school as well, so it's a plus.

I got this as a work laptop to travel with and be able to game in my down time. It’s not ridiculously bulky like most gaming laptops so I grabbed it. Pros: comfortable fit into any type of environment, screen resolution is great when watching movies, plays most the games I travel with. Cons: does not support modded Minecraft well, war zone had to be at near minimum settings, track pad can be a bit sensitive at times then not respond at all. TLDR: overall good computer for work and minor gaming, just don’t throw any big games at it.

This is a very speedy laptop. I've owned numerous Dell desktops and laptops over the past couple of decades and it's a terrific brand. This is the best laptop I've had yet and I like it a lot.

Bought this for my son, who needed it primarily for gaming. He says it is lightning fast, even though it was a floor model, no problems and running without any glitches.

This laptop is super fast. I use it for video editing and games, it has Been able to handle any number of tasks at the same time. It’s everything I hoped for when I bought it.

This pc is great for student that may be interested in gaming and programming. Computer has a lot of power and works very well.

Had a problem with software at startup but once smoothed that out the laptop works better than expected. Would buy it again.

I brought this Laptop for my son for college, I it for the power and the Storage. My son loves it, he was eyeing this Laptop, it was a surprise High School Graduation gift

Bought this for working away from home. The timing was bad on that I guess now that I am stuck at home works great for checking out reddit and rendering art in blender.

I needed a laptop for college and one that could play games well. It’s been great so far and I haven’t experienced any problems.

This was a great deal for our son in college. It served as his school and gaming computer. Was strong enough that he was able to compete on eteam with it

Though certainly not cheap, this Dell G5 gaming laptop is still a great value. Great processing speed and plenty of memory make this a pleasure to use.

My husband really likes this. It looks sleek to me. He says it doesn't lag and the pictures are good.

I bought this laptop for my younger brother who loves to play games that he downloads from the internet and he’s obsessed with it. We can’t get him off!

The Dell - G5 15.6" with an SSD starts quickly and the 1TB HDD is great for storing my documents, photos and projects. The only problem I have is with Microsoft. They are now using their cloud for programs such as Word and Excel. Also you have to be careful to store your items on the HDD. I travel to areas where I may not have access to the internet which means I cannot access the Microsoft Cloud. My work around is to keep blank copies of Word and Excel on my HDD and work off those. This really has nothing to do with the Dell which is a great computer.

No complaints at all, except that the operating system SSD is a little small ~250 GB. Other than that works fine for office work, gaming, etc. I like it a lot.
