I bought this for teleconferencing as I needed a fast computer and didn't want to replace it every year. Only complaint is that it needed a driver update from Dell for the microphone to work, which Geek squad couldn't figure out. It is superfast and a joy to work with. I have not used it for gaming but it does have an NVIDEA card so should work great.

Lot of power in this laptop and has a great screen. Very happy with the purchase. Took off 1 star because the system runs very hot and I often can feel the heat on my fingers when using the keyboard.

Perfect performance for the optimum price. I will buy another one.

Runs AAA titles just fine and produces solid FPS even when thermals are set to cooling. 300hz and an RTX 2070 at this price point makes it a solid buy. RAM is solid for the average gamer though it, along with SSD storage, are both expandable if needed. The device runs quite loudly but that's to be expected from a laptop with these specs.

This is absolutely a great laptop computer & it is fast. The clarity is exactly what was expected . The tech Adam who helped us in this purchase was wonderful explaining all the differences in the The gaming computers. He answered all of our many questions & he truly understood what we were looking for & what was most important to us.

This seemed to be a really great laptop at a great price, I purchased one but after getting it all set up I noticed that the really cool backlit keyboard would go dark after about 60 seconds, I looked everywhere for a adjustment to just keep it on... after searching all the setting including the BIOS where previous BIOS version had the option to extend the timeout or even keep it on, that item was gone! I spend over an hour with Dell tech support taking over the machine and searching... reinstalling the Alienware command center, searching system setting and the BIOS they said they that feature is no longer an option.... the keyboard is impossible to see in low light without the back and this was a deal breaker for me. When you go to Best Buy and look at the display of laptops you will notice this is the only one sitting there with a "lights out" keyboard until you hit a key... very annoying! To bad... maybe they'll do a future update and fix this, there support website is full of complaints and people searching for a fix. If you can live with that it's probably the best deal on the shelve!

This is a solid gaming laptop. I've never been a fan of Dell in the past due to several bad experiences but this has changed my mind. The specs for the sale price was unbeatable so I took a gamble and it paid off. I've been running World of Warcraft at max setting over wifi and there is zero lag and it never even gets hot.

Good gaming laptop, didn’t give it 5 stars because it gets extremely hot, don’t put it on your lap because you’ll get burned! P.S my son loves how the keyboard lights up Awesome feature.

Nice hardware for the pricepoint. That being said, as many people know, there is a massive overheating issue with this product. The fact that Dell hasnt addressed it is insane. I bought it excited because it had everything I was needing & immediately returned. I can't knowingly spend over 1k for a product i know has such an issue.

Excellent screen and very fast. Still trying to get used to not having a CD/DVD player. Keyboard lighting seems to have a mind of it own.

This laptop is amazing. I’m running black ops Cold War with very high settings at a steady 170fps which far exceeded my expectations. The only downside with it is that it does tend to get pretty hot so I would definitely recommend a cooling pad. Not as good as my desktops but for on the go gaming it’s amazing!

The store representative helped me choose a computer from criteria I provided. Unfortunately, I should have gotten other opinions. The picture quality when using the Snip-it tool is very poor, the weight is too heavy, the square points on the corners are too sharp, the laptop gets too warm, and the black finish is difficult to keep clean. I’m very disappointed and regret my purchase.

I love this laptop and it was easy setting it up I’m so happy I went with this it’s super fast the only problem I’m having is one minute I have internet then the next I do I don’t If it’s my internet company but other then that I’m very happy and pleased with this gaming laptop...I would recommend this gaming laptop...

Upgraded from a dell 7000 gaming laptop with a gtx 1050. And it was a massive upgrade. Mostly play gtav Minecraft and some simulations. And I went from gta at low to medium settings getting maybe 50 FPS to playing at max settings getting close to 100 FPS. Only complain is having to upgrade the storage

excellent product runs any game without problem, I have the Flight simulator 2020 and it runs perfectly without them, the processor speed is perfect. additionally, the rear ports of the equipment are perfect because I don't see so much cable on my desk. 100% recommended.

Loving this machine! I know the GPU isn't the bleeding edge of tech anymore, It's more than adequate for all games I've played on it, with max settings. Alien command center is nice, and sound is impressive. 300hz screen is absolutely stunning. G7 fan right here!
