I did not hesitate to suggest this computer for my friend. For a great price I was able to purchase this for them as a combo Birthday/Christmas gift. My friend has told me that he really enjoys this computer.

It was on sale for $350. When I get to the store it costs $370 or $380. I guess they jacked the price up from when I printed out the Best Buy page on it the day before. So I had to pay the new higher price. Kind of irritating but me against a mega corporation...I'm gonna lose every time.

For MS Office and typical desktop-publishing purposes, it is more than sufficient. With peripheral devices (DVD/CD drives, printers, etc) it is more than sufficient. It's very lightweight, and the battery has been performing well thus far (3 months). I recommend it heartily to anyone looking for a good laptop that won't break most budgets.
