For a little more we went for the laptop in case local storage or other programs would be needed in the future.

Couple times the screen would be black on startup for a long time and it took me awhile to find out it was doing an auto update. Wish it was slightly faster but works fine

Mainly grabbed this to surf the web and do everyday tasks. I've been using it more and more for talking to my friends virtually due to the pandemic. Camera is clear and does not lag. Has plenty of good specs for the everyday user.

I had to speak to 5 different people and kept on getting transferred. I would think twice before purchasing from Best Buy online again.

The processor is underpowered and the laptop gets hot to the touch doing basic work. The SSD is a bit small, too. Everything else is pretty good!

We dont have need for super high end computer, just quality machines that connect to the internet. I am a fan of Dell.

The keyboard is just too far away from the base. Not comfortable at all for my wrists. Also the brightness of the screen is not clear enough.

We use it the majority of time to stream video content. Great picture and sound quality. Little to no buffering. We're so glad we selected this Dell computer.

You can merely reach over the screen and it completely switches pages . In same fashion it reset the % of page size . You do not need to touch the computer . I would very much prefer windows 98 or XP

Thanks for your review and we're sorry that your computer's battery did not last longer for you. Here are some tips to help extend the life of your computer's battery runtime:
Change the Power Plan:
1. On the notification area of the taskbar, right-click the Battery icon.
2. On the options list, click Power Options.
3. Select a power plan on the battery meter, such as Power Saver or Balanced. Windows 10 has a built in 'Battery Saver' mode that can be activated to extend your system's battery life. The Battery Saver mode will monitor and limit background activity and other features such as push notifications. You do have the option to enable or disable this mode within settings or within advanced Battery Saver settings, you can customize the mode to best suit your needs.
a) Click on the Action Center icon in the taskbar and select the tile for Battery Saver.
b) If running Cortana then type Battery Saver into the search box and select from the results.
Within the Battery Saver settings page, you will be able to turn on and off the feature and customize the feature to best meet your needs.
c) Turn Battery Saver On or Off.
d) Additional settings available via the Battery use and Battery saver settings links.
e) Battery use shows further info on apps and their power usage.
f) Battery Saver Settings screen allows you to customize further Battery Saver feature.

I am disappointed with how touchy the mouse is. Really having trouble getting the mouse to click on what I want to click on. I think it is just that I need to get used to it.

Have been great for remote learning and their online games (age 9 and 10) one had issue with power cord, that's being addressed by Dell so we will see I would Highly recommend this laptop.

Only complaint was a significant delay in transit (probably on the USPS part of its journey to Alaska) but fortunately not a significant problem for me.

If you are looking for an everyday computer for surfing the web, shopping, banking, Facebook. This is an excellent choice. All the features you need, simple easy set up and your good to go.
