    Computer came in broken. Key pad numbers won't wor

    The reason I ordered this computer was because of the side numbers keyboard. I return and paid additional money to order another one just a little faster with a working keyboard. I just received it in the mail yesterday and it too won't work on the keyboard for numbers. I'll be returning this one for a full refund and will go shop elsewhere. I ordered my first computer to replace my old one March 1 then had to order again on March 11 and here it is April 4th and I still have no working computer. I do taxes for a living during the season and this has set me way behind on preparing tax returns.

    The laptop was top notch. Service after sale really bad. Would not purchase from Best Buy again. Device came with no Windows installed. Had 4 different chats with geek squad, or whatever they are called with no help or follow up. Nobody cared at all. Best Buy better get this type of service corrected, or there business and stock are down the drain.

    Have had lots of problems with this laptop. First the insert cord was the wrong kind. I am not that computer savy but didn't feel as dumb as on this one.

    This is the first laptop I bought in which during set up it is trying to make me purchase products which was strange. I dont remember having to do that w any other computers or laptops I bought in the past.

    Don’t get this laptop if you want to stream movies or play games. It can’t handle it and the screen will flicker

    Very slow, storage space sucks and when downloading something turns off my whole WiFi, touch screen responds slow.. Would not recommend this

      1. Close all open windows.
      2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
      3. Click Control Panel.
      4. Click System and Security.
      5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
      6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
      7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
      8. Restart the PC.

    I was disappointed that it did not have a DVD/CD drive. I could not install a lot of my programs due to lack of a DVD/CD drive I will have to find and purchase an external drive. Not Happy.

    Had this computer for just over a year. Was good at the start then started to act up. It would not power on once it went in sleep mode. Had to disconnect power and hold the power button down for 20 sec to get it to restart. Sometimes it took a few tries before it started again. Workaround was not to allow it to go into sleep mode. The other day it just suddenly shut off. Geek squad could not get it to power on......now a new laptop but not Dell.

    Although easy to set up, it died a month later. Geek Squad offered me store credit for a new laptop, but i doubt it will be a Dell.

    I bougth this Laptop on Black Fryday but it comes without the software that suppost to receive free, when I ask at customer service they just told me that they don't have it.

    I bought this "open box return" for someone due to the COVID-19 situation and them having to work from home with no PC. There was almost no inventory in the store and we needed one asap, so I reluctantly went with this one. Biggest mistake I have ever made! I have emailed, called, gone online and cannot seem to return this due to the stores being closed (they're doing curbside pickup), but they NEVER ANSWER THEIR STORE PHONES for me to ask if I can bring it back to them. Thanks for the help, but I don't care what the return extension date is. I'm getting my money back whenever these stores reopen even if that is beyond that extended date. My advice? Don't buy something that someone else returned. They probably did so for a reason.

    It does what I need it to do for the time being, but I will never buy a Dell again. I will go back to my Acer or HP. I just liked the performance better.

    This laptop seemed very cheap. Worked ok, the touch was awful. I would not recommend anyone to buy this one. I usually love dell

      1. Restart the Computer and the Monitor
      2. Go to Control Panel and select Tablet PC Settings.
      3. Under Display tab, select Calibrate.
      4. Choose Pen or Touch input.
      5. Perform the point calibration that appears on the screen to correct the linearity problems.
      6. Save the calibrated data.

    Computer was defective. I returned item and exchanged it for a better one that actually met my needs better than the first computer. I'll add that it was even less expensive than the one first purchased! I was treated with complete courtesy and understanding by the Best Buy staff, as usual I got a great price from Best Buy and am happily satisfied!!

    After about 6 months this thing started to give me issues. I was told it might be the hard drive and it would cost more or about the same as the laptop itself. It wouldnt go to the main screen and kept giving me errors. Customer service at DELL couldn't even figure it out nor troubleshoot the issue. I was not paying the specialist due to the quote costing the laptop fee. Nothing was working. I ended up contacting my cousin in Texas! Now a year exact to the date I purchased it, it constantly cuts off and restarts. Today in the middle of work, it shut down and restarted 4 times without saving any work nor sites. I'm purchasing another laptop at the end of the week and you guest it-its NOT A DELL! Something I shouldve done the first time. I'm losing business but most importantly TIME! Dont waste your money on a DELL. I've only had it for 1 year and havent got good use out of it. Just a headache! I still think they sold me a refurbished laptop as I recently found info that didn't belong to me in this laptop. My first and last purchase at Best Buy!!!
