I actually purchased a similar Dell laptop last year but with an Intel chip. This version has an AMD chip but the laptop performs like a champ. Gave to my girlfriend as a present as she needed a smaller/lighter laptop for work....she loves it!

It’s a laptop & tablet in one. Can function like a normal laptop or can fold into a tablet with its touchscreen. Also light, small, fast and quiet. Also great screen resolution and colors and iTunes sound great coming from it.

Great little 2in1! Pretty quick and responsive system but really wakes up when you give the Ryzen 16 fb dual channel to work with... very good hardware for most tasks... do wish it supported active pen but not a deal breaker...

PROS: Very sleek package. The screen is nice, and as an added bonus you get a fingerprint reader for Windows Hello. Good price given you get an SSD. CONS: Seems like lately every Dell I buy requires an exchange to find one that actually works properly. Perhaps check the item before you leave the store with it. Mine had the side of the track pad coming up.

    Awful experience with Dell support

I have an issue with a laptop: it freezes when resuming from sleep. I have called Dell support with this issue. Support engineer asked for a remote session on my computer, spent half an hour running pre-installed support tool and then he decided to update video driver. The screen didn't lit up after that. He promised to call in an hour or next day. He didn't call in an hour. I have rolled back the driver and started to research the issue. It seems that video driver issue is a common bug. So I just need to skip this version. My further investigation shown that laptop freezes because of Windows Hyper-V feature enabled. I could reliably reproduce this issue. Next day I've got a call from support. I explained my issue to an engineer. He said that Hyper-V and Virtual Machines are not hardware so he will redirect me to a software department. After several hops they said that warranty covers only hardware and proposed to buy Premium Support to resolve this issue. That is clear that the issue is with a laptop driver which, I believe, is a manufacturer responsibility. I have 3 computers from different manufacturers and all of them work with Hyper-V. I plan to return the laptop to the store and never buy any Dell laptop/PC/server again.

This was bought for my sister, she is in college. She wasn't a huge fan, it is out of necessity now she is using it. We had protection on in through geek squad which has made it barrable because we have had to fix it a few times. If I had to do it again I would go another route and not have gotten a Dell!

Purchased this laptop because I liked the size & features. For some reason it would shut down at least twice a day giving the dreaded blue screen saying Windows had not correctly loaded. It would reload & come back. After about a week of that I returned to the store & exchange for the same model. The 2nd did the same thing. I upgraded to another model & so far I'm delighted.

      Gramma,

We know that Blue Screen Errors can be frustrating. If you continue to experience errors on your new model you can run a diagnostic test by following these steps:

      1. At the desktop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
      2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
      3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
      4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.
