Great laptop with window update issues

Perfect for Netflix and work. The only issue I had work this was the recent Windows update, Microsoft not Dell's fault, which would cause a blacked out screen after update. I had to reinstall Windows from USB twice before the update issues was fixed by Microsoft. Now that's fixed, it's been working perfectly.

It works very nice. It ‘s faster the keyboard is very nice because the keys illuminated when you touch it. Is a little lighter that my old one. Is made very strong. One day I was going downstairs with my laptop and came out of my hands and went 8 steps down. I was surprised that when I turn on still working perfectly.

Almost there

Ultimately I returned it after a few days of use and lackluster performance. Everything crawled when it came to downloads or updates as the Intel WiFi chipset wasn't performing as intended. Getting about 3-5mbps normally while I'm capable of up to 200mbps on most of my wireless devices at home. For the first time that I can recall, Chrome had downloads fail to complete. It was able to pick them back up, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Other than that, it tried to perform well, but a computer is usually as strong as its weakest link. Updating the drivers had spotty resolution to the issue. I've had other, similar issues on my work laptop from Dell with Intel hardware regarding WiFi and Bluetooth chips. No other devices in my home were showing problems with WiFi. If I could get beyond those issues, it could be a great, ultra-portable laptop. I wish it included an Active Pen for the price. Could not get past this, and the software I needed to run did not work well for me on this screen size. Returned it for a 15" Ryzen Inspiron on sale.

Can slow a bit when any Large scale significant programs are running, but this really isn’t made for those so I’m testing its limits. Only downside is it needs more USB ports but I knew I wasn’t getting a bunch when I bought it.
