Bought it as a gift for my brother. It was fine for around 6 months with normal use for studying. After that, the hinges fell apart, and guess what, there were two crews that was loose. I will never buy Dell again.

nothin but problems with this laptop... within 6 months keys didn't work, wouldn't stream video & speakers would scream at you... had to take it in for "repairs" 5 times, 4 of which was for the same problem... pick it from repair one day & taking it back the very next for the same issue... wouldn't even give it 1 star but the review didn't give me a choice... I encourage anyone who wants to buy a Dell to think otherwise & PURCHASE SOMETHING BETTER...!!!

Bought this laptop on 2/8 and by 3/6 it stopped charging it keeps having a pop up message that says that the charger (that it came with) is not compatible and it won't charge and since I'm pass the 15 day return time frame I'm not able to return it after checking online I guess this is a common problem with dell laptops save yourself the $700 I might as well got a desktop since I have to have my laptop plugged in at all times to use it

The computer was not bad itself but the design of the power button next the the corner of the laptop is a bad design.

The speakers have stopped working twice in the first 30 days. It has been back to Best Buy several times with issues.

I gave it a three because it is a great laptop if you overlook the poor battery performance, short lifespan of the chargers and terrible support

I informed Dell Customer support that the AC Adapter was plugged in not charging. The Dell representative logged into my computer remotely to check if the battery is in excellent condition and for updates. According to him everything was alright and the Adapter was the only problematic issue and sent a new Adapter. However when I received the new Adapter- the issue was not resolved. The AC adapter is plugged in, but not charging. Same problem. Can you imagine the frustration? I have a computer that is fairly new, but I can not use. The error message is: connect a Dell 45W AC Adapter higher. Dell has suggested I return the computer so they can identify the cause of the charging issue and fix it. Am currently traveling, I haven't had a chance to ship it back and it's a major inconvenience as I wanted to use the laptop while traveling. If you can help it, do not buy this brand at all. My previous laptop was a top notch machine (Toshiba) it lasted 7yrs and never gave me any software/hardware issues until the keyboard finally broke a few months ago.

The internal speakers failed 17 days after I purchased this laptop. I sent the laptop to Dell for warranty service. As luck would have it, the repair parts were out of stock so it will take a few weeks for the repair to be completed.

I can't give a full review b/c I am still having trouble getting email synced and programs set up. My Geek Squad assistance was minimal.
