Touch Screen Horrible
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I have now gone through 2 of these laptops in 2 days, both with the same problem. Essentially right out of the box, the touch screen starts ghost tapping, so hectic that I can't do anything on the computer without restarting it. I shouldn't have this problem. Now I am forced to return my second laptop that I spent $700 on.

Very Disapointed
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Nice looking laptop, however 1 day old and charging issues (researched online and seems like a common Dell issue)and speakers distort and crackle badly. Will be taking it back for a refund. Not impressed. And to add insult to injury my 6 year old Dell is faster....

The worst PC ever
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this Inspiron 15 7000 for $600 (ON SALE) three weeks ago. I heard some electric noise when running a big program like Photoshop. Then I went to Best Buy to exchange it for a new one, the same model. Looks like the noise is gone. But it showed even worse prob. It crashed when it was sitting there inactive for an afternoon. Then I restarted it. Windows said pls restart due to the abnormal turning off. Then I restarted it again. All the stuff on the desktop was GONE! Then it showed sth went wrong with C disc.... Then restarted it again. Finally, it went OK. then it would not connect to another monitor! The Geek Squad staff told me it could be the defect during production. Something is definitely wrong with it! Gonna exchange to HP. I have used HP, Thinkpad. None of them have so many issues like DELL! Don't buy this model. It is no good.

will last about a year
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. At 13 months after purchase (1 month after warranty expiration) the left-most keys on the keyboard stopped working. At 15 months, the touchpad stopped working. Now at 16 months something has malfunctioned with the battery and you have to take the battery out and put it back in when the laptop suddenly (and frequently) shuts off and won't start up again. For $600 you'd think a laptop would last more than a year. I called Dell about this but because the warranty had expired, they would do nothing. Of course Best Buy would do nothing either. Last time shopping with either one.

Not such a good deal :(
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I was looking for a HP but the Dell representative at the store convinced me for this one. I am totally disappointed with this laptop. The battery does not last more than 2 hours. My daughter use it to play a simple game like Candy Crush and you can listen the fan feet away and the heat under the computer is too much. I cant believe than the battery of my 7 years old laptop last much more time compared to this 2016 model. Please don't waste your money on this.

Broken Within a Week of Purchase
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this computer a few months ago and noticed right away the hinges were crunching and popping. I thought it had a one year warranty so I waited for my college semester to finish and then contacted them. They said I would need to pay to get it fixed because it was "wear and tear." This should never have happened there was no wear and tear it was broken from the start. There are not signs of damage on the outside and it has never been dropped of banged around so it must be a problem with the way they assembled it.

Keeps dying
Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this online after seeing what a great deal it was. The first day it kept shutting off on me. It would restart, but kept happening. Tech department couldn't figure it out and I returned it for a new one. This one lasted a day. Next day it wouldn't power back up!!! Returned it. Now looking for anything but a dell.
