The computer has technical issues, charging issue

Probably the worst computer I've had. I've been buying used laptops for personal use from Lenovo and, thankfully, have never been disappointed. I got this Dell as a NEW laptop from work and it had charging issues within the first month. I sent it to customer service and they sent it back without the issue fixed. Worst buying experience. Would not recommend anyone purchasing from Dell. Lenovo is better in my opinion.

    Wireless would not stay connected

I bought this laptop based upon the reviews and price. I returned the first one after the wireless was spotty from the beginning and completely stopped working soon after. After restarts the wireless would connect for a minute and stop working again. My second laptop the same issue occurred. With no ethernet port I had no options to download new drivers to try and fix the issue. My router works fine, I tested it on multiple devices including my Dell work laptop. Support was no help.

    Touch Screen stopped working

Purchased this laptop in June'16. Touch screen stopped working in July'16. Contacted BB, geek squad said since it is beyond 14 days I need to contact Dell. Dell tried to troubleshoot over the phone, no success. Then i shipped it to their Repair Depot. Now Dell says they do not have the replacement part in stock so they will send me a refurbished laptop. No acceptable Dell. Probably my last Dell purchase

This would be a decent PC if the touchscreen lock system didn't totally suck. But it does and that makes it more trouble than it's worth.

    Worked Well (at first)

I read all the reviews saw everything about the WIFI problems dwindling so I thought maybe this problem had been resolved. Plus I'm somewhat tech savvy so I thought it wouldn't be a problem. I was wrong. It worked problem free for about two weeks then the trouble came, just in time for me to return it to scoop a reliable Macbook.

    Decent Machine....

Well, I'm on my second one of these things and both have had the same failure. Graphics card driver failure, one was an open box and this one was new off the shelf. Whether its just dumb luck or the fact that this is really a faulty series remains to be seen.... In any case this is going back today for return/exchange

Problematic at every step, failed in 2 days

I literally only installed Python, very simple program. Had to uninstall multiple times and rework things to get it to run as intended. Performance was poor, graphical capabilities lacking even for i5, graphics card crashed continuously during normal web browsing. Keyboard started failing in two days. Touch screen is extremely unresponsive. Geek squad offered zero help, didn't even look at my machine. I've been burned by Dell too many times now; I guess this is what I get for hoping a computer might be affordable.

    Computer wouldn't even turn on

I bought what was supposed to be an "open box, Geek Squad certified" computer as a gift for a friend out of the country and received it in the mail the day before I was suppose to travel. Fortunately, I opened it to test it out before leaving. The computer wouldn't even turn on and it had clearly been dropped, with visible damage to the corner near the power button. Rather than having the gift I had intended, I had to return the complete dud of a computer. I wouldn't order any computer from Best Buy again.
