Q: How hot does it get while running?
A: The computer does not get very hot while running. You should always have it on a solid surface like a table or desk so that the cooling fan can circulate air. if you have the computer on your lap, or on your bed, the fan is not able to circulate air, the computer will then get hot and this can cause damage to the hardware.
A: 4-6 hours depending on usage. I've gotten some pretty decent battery life with this laptop.
Q: what type of material ( plastic or aluminum) is it made of?
A: the bottom and top are plastic ...but the inside where keyboard and touchpad are is aluminum
Q: what downloads do i need for the wifi to function?
A: Yes when I first booted this laptop there were issues maintining a connection so I went to device manger to update the wifi adapters drivers and told it to search the local hard drive for drivrrs and found more current drivers and used those. After that there were no issues, it was stable as a rock. Not sure why an older driver was loaded in first place which can cause issues for non technical people so thats not good. However I did NOT need to go to Dell website to retrieve any other drivers. Actually Dells website for drivers adds to the confusion because it list all drivers for the laptop wheither they are already installed or not so it gives the impression you need all these extra drivers when they might be already installed. One additional thing you might need to do is search for intel chipset drivers for the cpu installed and update to the latest intel chipset drivrrs.

Q: Is this key board lit and blue tooth capable ?

Q: Is this a 2 in 1 or an actual laptop?
