“what type of material ( plastic or aluminum) is it made of?”

• the bottom and top are plastic ...but the inside where keyboard and touchpad are is aluminum

• I just purchased this laptop two days ago. The shell material is impressive. I believe it is high quality impact resistant plastic with a non-slip coating. I'm not an expert but I do know what quality plastic materials are and this fits the bill.
