Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I think people that are complaining about this computer as it stands are not very knowledgeable about computer hardware, and that's the basic problem with this machine. It has an AMD A6 Stoney 7th gen processor for starters. You can think of the AMD A series in general as slow as snot by today's standards. Any of 'em. I got an A6 in my HP el cheapo laptop 6 years ago. If you want decent performance, get a Ryzen or possibly an A10. You ain't gonna get an AIO in this price range with these features with one of those though. Secondly, don't expect to run Windows 10 on an el cheapo processor like this with 4GB of RAM and a 5400RPM drive and not be painfully, nay, let's say excruciatingly slow. Puh-lease. If you want this thing to be blazingly fast, you must: -add another 4GB RAM or more (40 bucks or so) -replace the HDD with an SSD (512GB is about $60 now) -install Linux Mint or Ubuntu (free) you will then have a machine that runs lightning fast, stable, and without any issues at all. Otherwise, quit complaining, the slow performance is to be expected. Windows 10 is a huge pile of bloatware and spyware in and of itself and will always run like carp on hardware of this caliber. Period.

We're sorry to hear how slow your computer has been running for you. We'd recommend running the Windows Performance Troubleshooter by following these steps:
1. Close all open windows.
2. Press the Windows logo key + X key on the keyboard.
3. Click Control Panel.
4. Click System and Security.
5. Under Security and Maintenance, select Troubleshoot common problems.
6. Under System and Security, click Run maintenance tasks.
7. Follow the on-screen instructions and prompts to complete the process.
8. Restart the PC.

2. Check Safe Mode for Symptoms. To boot into safe mode, please follow the instructions below:

c) Select Safe mode with Networking and press Enter.

If the symptoms do not exist in safe mode, the issue is likely related to a driver or software and you may wish to complete steps 6 to see if you are able to resolve the lockups or freezing.
