A: This can barely open a web browser, incredibly underpowered. Takes 10 minutes to boot up.
A: No, and it's easy to set up. It also comes with a Trend Antivirus free for 3 months. But I would advise NOT to download it. I did and the computer ran EXTREMELY slow, so I Uninstalled it and reloaded the one I use on my other computers, and now it works fine. The program I use is Advance System Care by IOrbit, you can go to their website and get it. I've used it for over 5 years and never had a problem with any of my devices. Obviously your choice, but I really didn't like the Trend program. Good Luck to you!
Q: Is this system wireless and backlit?
A: Yes, the unit has WiFi. No, it does not have a backlit keyboard.
Q: Would this be a good computer for children ages 12 & 13?
A: Yes. Not too big and not too little. It is a little hefty, but my 18" laptop was heavier. Wireless keyboard and mouse included, so it will go through batteries quickly; I replaced them with wired ones. As always, activate parental controls for your own peace of mind.
Q: Does this system have a DVD drive?
A: No, this All-In-One does not come with a DVD drive.
Q: Can you use this system wired instead of wireless?
A: We wired my printer but nothing else really needs wiring.
A: NO way to slow.
Q: Can this be upgraded to 8GB Memory on your own, like have me do it, kinda like DIY?
A: I did yesterday, save your money it did nothing I wasted $100.
