I actually bought a Geek Squad certified to save about$20 (which let me buy a new external DVD drive on sale). But the keyboard cover isn't snapped tight to the case (think of a Tupperware lid not on right), so that's a concern. And the touchscreen is responsive but dark, like check the settings twice to be sure dark.) The PC needed a ton of Windows updates which is to be expected with a new PC and it happened automatically. But when the touchpad went wonky, a call to Dell revealed a ton of Dell only updates were needed. Overall, probably okay for the occasional user.
