Q: Is the RAM expandable? How many slots are there? another 8gb can be added?
A: Yes, the RAM could be expanded up to 16 GB in the two SODIMM slots. Yes, another 8 GB, DDR4, 2666 MHz could be added.
Q: Can I use Windows 11 non S mode with this laptop? If so how do I load regular Windows 11.
A: On your PC running Windows 11 in S mode, open Settings > System > Activation. In the Switch to Windows 11 Pro section, select Go to the Store. On the Switch out of S mode (or similar) page that appears in the Microsoft Store, select the Get button. Once switched off the S mode cannot be revoked.
Q: does this item have a dvd/cd player? Do any of your laptops have this feature?
A: It does not. Few new laptops an optical drive because it saves weight and cost. You can buy an external optical drive for 20-30 dollars that plugs into a USB port.
