I purchased these 2 years ago for my grandchildren. They are still going strong. Now one of them is using it for her College studies. These are great computers I would highly recommend them.

I chose this laptop for my 76 yr. old husband who is a technophobe and a PC guy. (I’m a long-time Apple user with a Windows background that ends around 1998.) I had to setup the computer for my spouse. I’d never used a Dell before, but found it fairly easy to figure out. Hubby seems to be gradually adjusting to the new device and to Windows 10. Not much more to say at this point.

Even if this hadn't been on a fantastic Black Friday sale, this still would have been a good laptop. I told my brother about it and actually bought it for him to replace an HP Stream Intel Celeron laptop I had given him. This was quite an upgrade. The biggest reason for buying this Dell instead of a similar HP (in term of specs), was because of the superior colors and camera for Zooms because this one is a full 1080p vs. 720.

While the computer works great, the design is junk. We use this laptop maybe once every couple of weeks and the framing around the screen is pulling apart when opening the laptop. It hasn’t been abused or thrown around at a college. My wife uses it to save pictures to and surf the net on occasion. My son’s did the same thing, bought a few months apart. Never buying a Dell again.

Love this laptop. Perfect processor speed and disc space do handle home computer projects. Great Price!

This is a solid system in terms of its specs. It has a good processor for everyday activities and good RAM. Although the storage is a little small, it may be enough for many current users if they use any cloud storage service. However, I am giving it a low rate because of a design issue, which, after some use, results in broken hinges and bezels. At first, I thought my daughter could have managed it uncarefully, but after researching, I realized that this issue is happening way too often to other users just to ignore it. Unfortunately, my laptop is out of warranty now, so Dell will not respond to this issue even though, as mentioned before, it is a design issue.
