A lemon from Dell, not the norm

Device wise it should be a great computer and an upgrade from my previous dell. Missing files that allows printer installation and the ability to connect with my new HP printer. (I've been using a Dell/HP combo for years and they worked well together). Seems like these would be easy fixes? Spent hours with HP and Dell support folks (all very nice) and the final out come was pay more $$$$ for special assistance (for a brand new - had it two days-computer). I hope mine is one of the few lemons as this is not the norm for Dell (had 5-6 over the years). I wouldn't tell people no nor at this time would I say yes to the 3880 (need an insure option below). Hard decision to maybe try another one?

This model of the Inspiron does not come with a pre-installed DVD player. I discovered this product design failure when I needed to load driver software for a printer.

We'd recommend looking for the printer drivers that you need on your printer's manufacturer website. We hope that you're able to set up your computer through online driver downloads.
