    Worst experience I have ever had. New computer, all info is scrambled, unable to get my email from Century link and Outlook. I lost a data base with over 1500 personnel and data. I am unable to sign in other items. Other items are just scrambled with no order. Later, I was not told that a monitor did not come with the new computer. I spent over $20.00 dollars trying to get my old Dell monitor to work. I then had to buy a new monitor but it had to be ordered. So, I have a new computer but I still have to use my old one to do the membership for a large club. I had to drive to Wilson over 5 times at 25 miles each way to get what I though was the correct info. I also was told to get Microsoft MS365 which I have no idea how to use it. So, anything I had in the old computer with Excel, Access is not working in the new one. Everything that was organized in my old computer, is just scrambled in the new one.

    For this much money it does not even come with a mouse pad and two weeks later actually less than two weeks later the one terabyte version was put on sale for the same exact price. Also for this much money it also doesn’t even have a CD ROM drive which is a dealbreaker for me

    Who sells a computer with 12 GB of memory?? I wish I had been paying better attention when I purchased this loser. Bringing it back to the store and getting a real computer.

    We were very angry that the salesman let us buy this unit that didn’t have a CD drive. I still can’t believe you guys sell a PC and not be very up front that the unit doesn’t have one built in.

    No slide for the old hard drive, and no DVD drive. Had to trade up and it cost me another $60.00. Guy who sold it to me made a mistake.

    Only 1 Monitor Out

    After purchasing 2 different VGS-to-HDMI adapters, and no success from wither one; I spent an hour on the phone with DELL to find out that 10th gen i5 and i7 CPU's do not support VGA. So while it is listed on the specs, it is non-operable and there is only one video-out. Doesn't help me connecting 2 monitors without purchasing a docking station. Additional $160. So much for the 'good deal'.

    just found out it has no cd drive, why......... how can you sell a computer with no cd rom drive..........

    When I purchased this computer and had Geek Squad transfer files from my old computer everything worked fine for about 2-3 weeks then suddenly the computer would not power on.

      We are sorry to hear that your Inspiron is not quite meeting expectations and apologize for the inconvenience. We suggest performing diagnostics to determine what may be causing the issue. Provided below are instructions to do so.

      1. If the computer is displaying the Dell logo and does not move past that point, it has probably failed POST.
      2. If the power indicator lights up and it is amber or orange, this is usually an indicator that it has failed POST.
      3. If you see text on a black screen, the computer is currently performing the POST. If the computer stays in that condition and does not move past it, it has probably failed POST.
      4. If the video screen displayed anything at all during the startup process but is now black, this probably indicates that the computer failed POST.
      5. If the computer is beeping or if Caps/Num/Scroll Locks are flashing, note if there is a particular pattern in which it beeps or flashes.
      6. If the computer is not beeping and caps/num/scroll locks are not flashing, unplug all connections and remove all media communication devices (e.g. external monitors); reconnect one at a time and check if the computer functions.
      7. For a notebook, press and hold the Fn key and then press the power button. This starts the pre-boot testing and will launch ePSA. In case you have a Desktop at the Dell logo screen tap the F12 key to enter One Time Boot Menu and use the arrow keys to highlight Diagnostics and press enter.

    Not what I thought it would be. Could’ve spent a few hundred more and got a more powerful pc like a gaming pc or content creation.

    The newest one, I was told by the geek squad, had a disk. I had brought back the HP I purchased 11/3 when it didn’t work (no sound that the geek squad could detect). I didn’t have a disk drive and returned the second item. The only one I could get with a disk drive was the older display. So, I have my third computer and three frustrating trips to Best Buy.

    I cannot give this computer a rating since I had to return it to Best Buy because I could not use it. It was a Dell desktop and when I could not get it to work, I called Dell and they said to return it which I did. I was later told by the Geek Squad that the desktop worked fine.

    Not as good as my 7 year old Dell. Mouse poorer quality. Had Office added upon installation and still can't access Word or Excel. Now told to bring it in for help, but based on past experience doubt that would be helpful.

    it is impossible for me to rate this computer because i have never seen it. best buy in slidell, la. has had it since 11/04/2020 (11 days). the geeks are supposed to transfer data from other computer to the new. It is the worst service possible.

    Genuinely regret getting busy and forgetting to return this computer, i got it used from best buy in Manhattan KS. Audio fails to work while in games and customer support couldnt fix it
