This is a great Laptop. It has everything you would want in a Laptop. The touch screen is great and the keyboard is easy to navigate. I have tried many keyboards and this one seems to be as good or better than any other I have tried. Way to go Dell. You have done it again.

    Just a few annoyances

Powerhouse laptop. But there are a couple things that take a few stars off for me. The edges all around the laptop are sharp. The molding is not beveled so when picking it up or resting wrists while typing is noticeable, and after extended time it almost hurts and leaves marks. The other thing is the chiclet keyboard keys are textured and a little soft. That might be a personal preference, but the keys feel a little funny under my fingers. Other than that, it's a great laptop. Screen is nice and large, system is fast. For those interested, linux works pretty much out-of-box, except for the fingerprint reader.

Love my new laptop. Nice to have calculator numbers. Enjoy having pen for art projects and editing. Only thing is very slippery to handle. Wish maybe skins were available or something to handle.

I waited at least a month before putting my review to see if I get the same BYOD, errors, and other problems that a few buyers have experience and I guess I'm fortunate, I did not have those issues. That's the nature of technology, sometimes, you get one of those lemons. I've had my share of those situations. Just not this one. This laptop has been great, decent battery life, bright screen, and excellent 4k. I want to try installing one of AAA games to test out Iris Max. It definitely plays Minecraft, no problems. I would recommend this, but wait for a sale. Just FYI, I got this Open Box and with Total Tech, I'm set.

Good screen size for laptop for school use. Keyboard is comfortable to use. Good graphics and speed for school work. Easy to carry - not to heavy. Can choose best performance and have shorter battery charge or best battery life to have a longer lasting charge. Purchase price was good with promotional discounts.

    Last chance for Dell

I ordered this machine when my preferred Yoga C940 was not available in gray. The first machine lasted 28 days before becoming a brick. The Geek Squad could not revive it. Exchanged it for the same model since it was in stock. After unboxing this second machine and turning it on I received a "boot sector not found" error. Took it back to the store and exchanged it for a third machine of the same model. Either the "third time's the charm" or "strike three, you're out" was going result. This time the microphone did not pick up my voice unless I was shouting and the touchpad had a dead zone covering a third of the area in the center. Strike three, you're out. Returned this third machine for a refund. Went online to Lenovo and ordered the new Yoga 9i 15. Happy camper!

I like the touch screen. It's easy to use. I would recommend making the switch for the web cam more visible. I managed to turnoff the camera without realizing it. It took me a while and my daughters help to turn it back on. Overall, I like this laptop.

I had my last Dell for 13 years and had little to no problems with it. Obviously I was buying another Dell. Very fast processing and love the fact that there are the number keys on the side. And the graphics are vivid. The only thing is it will have an application error pop up. Shouldn't be doing that already.

I bought this device thinking it had the latest I7 11th gen with Intel graphics Xe. it turned out to be slower than expected. I was using an LG gram 17 and it boots a lot faster than this Dell the LG only uses a 10th Generation CPU. The one thing that made me return it. it had some cracking sound in the right speaker. also the WIFI was way too slow. It takes time to load youtube or download programs. I tested the internet speed on speedtest.net I barely got anything above 30 MBPS download and upload was less than 1 MB. I tested it from the LG and it got 300 MBPS and my apple TV got the same speed. I'm not sure if I got a defective WIfi or thats that way it works in this computer. It is disappointing at this price tag 1599$

Supposed to be an open box, Geek squad certified with all original contents? I received a used computer, previous owner registered 5.5 months ago and therefore missing almost 1/2 the warranty. Rubber bumper on rear of screen broken. No contents but a charger and cord. Looks like a pawn shop purchase.

The Dell Inspiron 7000 in my opinion is a fantastic laptop with decent power and storage. I would recommend it to any of my friends or family. I do think you should purchase a screen protector just to be on the safe side, to prevent any scratches.

This computer is great!! It has such a clear and bright display plus it is so fast. I am learning Windows 10 as I had still been using Windows 7. This is my first Dell computer and like it so far. Have not had a chance to try it as a tablet yet.

Performance is good, but stupid keyboard layout. It splits the left arrow and right arrow keys into half and placed PgDn and PgUp just next to the arrow keys. You will accidentally press PgUp when you want to go left, and Pgdn when you want to go right. Also, the Home button and the End button require Fn ky press. If you need to type a lot with this computer, you should not buy this.
