It's lightweight, and has features that are fun. I do wish computers would come with card slots and picture card readers these days. Troubled that hardly anything was in stock and had to order online.

The space bar stuck and the laptop overheated. I returned and the 2nd one works great. It has a number pad which is something I like for doing finances on this PC.

The first time she plugged the external drive into the USB port the screen went black and computer died, it had only been out of the box for 30 minutes. I had to take the back off and unplug the battery to get it working again.

DELL INSPIRON 7000

I am very happy with my purchase. Fast startup with no lad time. Had a problem with one key being hard to make contact but Dell immediately sent a service tech to my home and replaced the keyboard. For me, Dell is the only Laptop I will ever own. You can't go wrong.

Owned for 1 year when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.BUYER BEWARE: I did research before purchasing this expensive 2 in 1, excitedly thought I found the right product, and unfortunately ended up with a lemon. Don't get stuck with an expensive piece of scrap metal like I did. This product is junk for the following reasons: 1) The laptop cannot be used without plugging it in. The battery simply never did, or does hold a charge. 2) The pen is often not recognized by the computer. Moreover, it often either does not respond or is not accurate. It's not clear whether this is a pen issue or a Bluetooth issue. 3) There is onboard pen storage. Yet, it is very difficult to access the pen without accidently pressing a bunch of buttons. 4) The mousepad stops working randomly. 5) The touchscreen often stops working randomly for no apparent reason. It doesn't seem to pick up the finger touching it. 6) The entire computer is slow with a lag and delay, and doesn't respond when switching from laptop to tablet mode. It just doesn't seem to 'go'. 7) The computer crashes often, for no apparent reason doing mundane activities. Lots of time is spent constantly restarting. 8) The computer randomly got corrupted rendering it useless. It is now a heavy piece of scrap metal. 9) There is zero customer service from Best Buy. You can feel free to chat with a robot, or spend your afternoon waiting to speak to a 'human' robot. If you don't discover all the problems in your device within 15 days you have absolutely no recourse. Best Buy does not stand behind their products at all. Do not be fooled by holiday return window extensions. You will have no recourse afterwards. BUYER BEWARE: Everything will have bells and whistles and look snazzy in store while browsing. Store employees will show you all the cool features. It won't last. Don't get stuck with a lemon. "YOU GO TO B & H." They have intelligent customer service, can help you zero in on exactly what you need, focus on the quality in their products rather than snazzy features, and simply put: they stand behind their products. I am sorry to have made my worst buy at Best Buy. I hope the time spent writing this review will prevent others from losing their money. If any intelligent manager is reading this, feel free to contact me.

It was a few years old and it was knocked off the desk and broken. I love the size of the computer, the number of available ports. The resolution of the screen is great.
