Purchased a Geek Squad Certified Open-Box one to save a few dollars and the unit is just as advertised. All that was missing was new computer smell, which is not a big deal as the laptop looks brand new and performs flawlessly.

Staff was very helpful in narrowing down the myriad of choices to just 2 computers to meet my needs. Geek Squad did a great job in transferring files from my old computer and even got it working again.

Screen resolution, quality and size are allow for good balance for displaying multiple full size windows.

I love they way it looked, very lightweight but didn’t work. I had to return twice in less than a week. First laptop gave me an issue the second day, it keep glitching and turning the screen white. I had to run off and turn back on. I exchange it the following day for the same one because I just thought maybe it was a bad batch, I guess it happens. Second laptop had to be order because store had none in stock. The one I got was worst. I was able to set it up and put it to charge because it ask me too, well the following day it did not turn on, nothing happen the computer was dead. I don’t know what happen with dell this year dell was a good brand. Sad I had to go through these trouble. I did return and went though a different brand.

The Dell Inspiron 7000 has so far exceeded my expectations when it comes to life, start up is 15 seconds versus my old HP that took minutes. Would recommend to anyone.

Bad Dell Computer

I have seen the blue screen of death more than I did with windows 95. Typically, the laptop crashes several times a week and occasionally several times per day. The computer is quite stable. I've been on the phone with Dell support, use the support assist tool, and the computer keeps crashing. It's a bit ridiculous. I recommend staying far, far away from this device.

1. On the laptop, click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.
5. We'd also suggest checking to make sure that your software and drivers are up to date on Dell's Product Page - http://dell.to/3hmUpRy.
