    This computer was a Graduation present for our son. I have had a Dell for the last 1.5 years and it has performed very well. Our son needed and upgrade as he heads to college. He loves this new Dell!

    If I could rate my experience with this product, it would be a zero. I had this laptop for one night, completed the set-up, and noticed the fan was very loud. After using it for one day, I put it to sleep, and the following day I tried turning it on, and nothing happened. I would hear the laptop turn on, but the screen was black and would not display. After trying to use an HDMI, I returned the product.

    It's a great system. However, I'm having trouble with Microsoft Outlook which I also purchased from Best Buy. I'm unable to get my outlook mail that is through my cable provider.

    I've had this laptop for only a couple of months now and am surprised at how often I get the Blue Screen. I'm a casual user and pretty much only use it to browse the web. I bought this laptop after my old Asus of 9 years was just getting so slow. While I like the look and features of this laptop, I'm doubting the reliability and can't image this will last 9 years.

      1. Click the Search the web and Windows box and type "problem reports".
      2. Select View all problem reports to view a list of errors that have occurred on your computer and possible solutions for them, such as updating drivers, flashing your system BIOS, or checking for updates to the software.
      3. Under the Source column, look for Windows and under Summary, look for Shut down unexpectedly.
      4. Right-click the line item and select Check for a solution.

    Pros: Display Cons: Fan sound, slow start of pc got it for 1150. Not a value for money. dont know if this is problem with my device or every dell device.

      An out-of-date BIOS can cause loud fan noises by having an outdated temperature table for the system. Refer to update BIOS and follow the instructions to update the BIOS on your computer. You can also follow up with our Technical Support Team here - 1-800-624-9896.

      If you'd like to see if your computer can start up faster we'd recommend limiting the number of programs that launch at startup:

      1. Close all open windows.
      2. Press CTRL + Shift + ESC key together on the keyboard.
      3. In the Task Manager window, click Startup tab.
      4. Select the program or application that you want to disable from loading during startup.
      5. Right-click and select Disable.
      6. Repeat Step 4 & 5 for all the programs or applications that you want to disable from loading during startup.
      7. Restart your PC.

    Worked great when it was working. As other people have said, the motherboard gives out quickly . I bought this new in January and now end of April it’s broke. I wanted to love this however I’d definitely go a different route if I could do it over again. (It’s pass my return date) so I’m headed to a computer repair store 3 months after buying it ! Ugh!!

    I purchased a prepared piece of this which is refurbished excellent and certified condition.. I am very disappointed with too much of screen freezes multiple times and it’s getting shutdown lot of times. It’s pain and difficult to get drop of from a meeting when it switched off.. and toomuch of blue screen show up saying some errors and system checks.. cursor too gets stuck sometimes when using laptop keypad.. Will not recommend this to a friend

    When it works it’s great. Light and fast. Nice keyboard. Updated all windows and dell updates and still crashed when using Edge browser and when waking up from sleep mode (blue screen of death). Wish updates would have fixed problem as I really liked it overall. Ended up returning.

    I liked the dell laptop, very easy to used, it’s 4K screen picture looks very great, with 1 TB SSD drive it’s very fast to used.. only issue which I noticed the laptop mouse gets hang a lot!
