I purchased this as a out of box item. It give's you your basic computer needs and nothing more. It's a i3 so it's kind of slow.

Recently I had to replace my older Dell computer. Best Buy had a good deal on this one so I took the opportunity to save some money. This is a great upgrade for me. I am not what you would call a power user or a gamer so this one works good for me. It is easily upgradable if my needs change!

I've been very happy with my purchase of the Dell Inspiron Desktop. It is a replacement for my 10 yr. old computer that was no longer up to date or reliable. The Best Buy experience was excellent and I used their Geek Squad services to transfer data. I've very satisfied with my purchase.

Overall inexpensive decent low end computer. However 8 gab RAM is not quite enough to run Windows 11 well.

The product is good I am looking forward to it for a long time.

The Dell Inspiron 3891 desktop with the Intel Core i3 processor is a decent entry-level product but is definitely not designed for any serious workloads. The i3 processor with only 8GB of RAM can handle modest browsing, Email and light workloads but it runs out of gas for any more demanding tasks. Another observation is that everything feels very light weight. The system unit itself has very little heft and the plastic front panel feels really flimsy. The optical drive tray appears particularly fragile and must be handled carefully. The keyboard and mouse are likewise very light although the keyboard does have satisfying key travel and is comfortable. The unit does offer a substantial number of expansion ports (8 USB ports, 1 HDMI, 1 Ethernet) but again I would hesitate to load it up too much. Like all new units the PC comes with Windows 11 so there may be a bit of a learning curve. Initial startup and configuration went smoothly and I had no issues connecting to my WiFi or setting up my HP printer. In conclusion this PC works fine so long as the usage is casual (good fit for home or for the kids) however you might want to consider a model with an i5 or an i7 and additional RAM if you want some breathing room.

David Vitelle is awesome. He knew exactly what and how to set up new computer & printer and set up old set in another room. He explained how things worked, but I am sure I will have more questions. I have much to learn going from Windows 7 to 11.

Slowest thing ever!! This thing couldn't load a web page to save itself. They wouldn't even give me trade in value for it even though I bought it at Best Buy and spend a ton of money there every year.

I'm not happy at all with the tower, the CD player takes too long to load and read CDs, takes too long to download musics, pictures or other files to the CDs. Today I found out that my Dell - Inspiron Desktop - Intel Core i3 - 8GB Memory - 1TB HDD - Black is no longer returnable and that makes me sad

I set up computer on my own and later found out about Geek Squad coverage. I signed up and had them clean up my computer. He was awesome! Really helpful and did a great job for me. Will recommend to friends!

This machine is not designed for performance, but every day general use and for students, it’s budget friendly and easily upgradable to meet additional needs of the owner. Do not expect to utilize this for any form of extreme gaming, the core (processor) this has is not for that. The RAM (memory) is upgradable, but with 8GB out of the box, still good for normal use. The storage capacity may seem a bit on the plus side for being budget friendly, but speed is sacrifice as it’s using a standard drive vice anything new. If you’re using it for everyday use, upgrade to a solid state to get some performance and ease of use out of this thing. The number of ports in the front makes for ease of use in addition to when having to download files from a camera or SD card. Makes it a breeze, main use of this machine is for downloading photos to review and clean up collection. The CD drive is no longer the standard size, but re-purpose of a laptop style drive. Common these days with the almost extinction of the CD/DVD use. It has become standard that HDMI is readily avail, be prepared to upgrade your screen or cable to an HDMI or cable conversion in order to use this machine. For internet connections, you do have options, wired or wireless using the current market standard avail. Keyboard/Mouse that comes with it is wired; keep in mind this is an entry-level, budget friendly PC for normal use. I’d recommend this for students, families with students, and those on a budget that need something for everyday use.

Outstanding. No other way to put it. I was in and out of the store in Nashua, NH within minutes. Impressive staff. As busy as it was, the group was organized and methodical in getting customers out the door. 5-Stars on this trip!!!
