Expensive, but full-featured

Your feedback is sincerely appreciated and will surely be taken into consideration when designing future products. To help with the keyboard lighting issue we suggest disabling the backlit keyboard when you are in lit areas. Below I have provided the steps to disable the backlighting and the full article link.
Backlit keyboard options in BIOS
1. Click the + sign next to System Configuration.
2. Click Keyboard Illumination.
3.* Disabled or Off - The keyboard illumination is off.
*Dim - The keyboard illumination is at half brightness.
*Bright - The keyboard illumination is at full brightness.
4. Click Apply, and then Exit.

Now since I bought it, I couldn’t use it, the battery doesn’t last an hour.

|Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.After having owned multiple XPS/Alienware devices, I was excited to get my hands on my first and the newest XPS laptop. The Dell XPS lines are tried and true. They are easily the best laptops on the market in the Windows OS. I went with arctic white, which is not my first choice and I probably would not recommended for gamers. The white keyboard for gamers. The white keyboard with white back lighting with makes it difficult to see the keyboard is broad daylight. No issue at night. When it comes to unboxing and set up there's nothing difficult or special. Standard Windows set up. The first thing you'll notice is the screen. The OLED shines in every way. There is little to no motion blur and games/movies/documents all look perfect and crisp. The brightness is nearly blinding at the highest levels, which can be quite rare for laptops. It comes with an adapter for HDMI, otherwise it's all USB-C. My biggest complaint is the weight, it's on the heavy side but for a quality laptop with serious hardware, there's no getting away from a little extra weight. The battery life is adequate but when you're gaming hardcore you need you cord nearby or plugged in. COD and flight simulator burned through my battery. In terms of gaming, I am very pleased. The computer will get hot and loud with the high end graphics on the new flight simulator and on my Rift. It takes longer depending on the demand and graphics (obviously) but overall no complaints. The motion blur is rarely noticeable and a huge leap from standard LED/LCD based panels. Red Dead Redemption loaded faster than my console and very new desktop. I believe the 4K 30FPS is possible but you're really stretching it on this card. Everything else performs very well, the basic usage will be no issue whatsoever on this laptop. Most importantly, 4K movies/videos on this screen are remarkable. The depths of blacks/greys are unmatched and the brightness brings out colors. I don't have much negative to say about this one. If you're looking for a reliable laptop with a little extra power, there's no looking beyond this one.

It turned out that the second one also had the same problem so I went with another system. Once running it was great but the process you had to go through to get it operating wasn't worth the it considering the price you had to pay.

Beautiful Display and fast system

The touchscreen works flawlessly. Processor and RAM are very impressive. I was able to run Civilization VI at 1080p, an android emulator (Bluestacks) and several browser windows simultaneously and the system never gave any signs of stress or struggle to keep up with my processing demands. The trackpad is enormous and the keyboard on the Frost model is EXTREMELY white and lacks contrast against the lettering on the keys making them hard to read. Under load, this machine did not heat up, which is a plus compared to some of my older machines. High points: Fast processor Strong specifications Small footprint for a 15.6” display USB C ports on both sides of machine allowing charging from any angle; also include adapter for USB C to USB A and HDMI Responsive touch screen Lightweight Room for improvement: It only has USB C and requires the enclosed adaptor for any other types of connections. Power adaptor gets very hot when plugged in for extended periods Keyboard needs more visibility relative to machine case color Overall this is a phenomenal machine that will do most anything you throw at it. Not sure if the RAM is upgradeable or fixed and that would be my only caveat for further investigation, if you need more than 16GB of RAM.
