JUST ANOTHER GREAT ALBUM. JOE AND HIS BUDDIES JUST LOVE TO MAKE BLUES ROCK !!!!!

this is a great cd well worth the price, I like the entire cd and Joe's guitar work is of course Stellar !

The best modern blues artist today. Worth listening to.

A few songs remind me of Stevie Ray Vaughn who was someone I thought of a blues-rock God during his time. Today, I like Joe's version of blue rock much, much more than I ever liked Stevie Ray Vaughn. And, you get that and most of the other songs are his own style. As a treat, you get Joe's version of a Jimi Hendrix song and the rest are Joe's creations and song writing, which is fun to contemplate while listening. The theme of this album is blues rock variety in styles and you get it!

I own every Joe Bonamassa CD, and am seeing him live for the 3rd time in January. He's just that good. I am a 70's rock and roll lover, but Joe hooked me with the first few notes I heard. My son likes him too. Nice to have something we can all enjoy. He looks like an accountant, but tears it up on vocals and shreds it on guitar. Acoustic or electric...he's so talented! I bought a copy of this CD for my friend as well.

By far his best album to date ! Joe is a one of kind ,a true artist who continues to improve with every new release. This album is different than his last one and it's hard to pick a favorite but one I repeat more often than not is Love ain't a Love Song. If your not a Bonamassa fan by now than you need to crawl out from under that rock , he is truly amazing and to see him live is an incredible experience !

I look forward to each Joe Bonammassa release wondering which direction he will go with it. I was not disappointed with Different Shades of Blue. Joe continued his trend of writing great songs with a strong guitar presence (not too strong, just strong enough). This is definitely a blues CD, but never boring blues. I highly recommend buying this CD. Joe is a phenomenal musician and guitar player.

Not that he ever went away, but it's been a lot longer than usual between studio releases for Mr. Bonamassa. The difference here is he had a hand in writing everything (barring a short Hendrix instrumental). It took a few listens to really appreciate how good this album is, each song has a lot going on, but it continues to grow on you listen after listen! Oh Beautiful and the title track stand out right from the start. Joe B's guitar playing is stellar throughout and his vocals have become stronger with each release. Different Shades will easily be in my top 5 for the year!

I'm glad I got this CD at Best Buy, because two of my favorite songs are BB bonus tracks--Better the Devil You and Black Irish Eyes! The equipment list in the liner notes is another reason I'm glad I got the physical CD ... that list is enough to make any guitar enthusiast weep! And the diversity of equipment shows in the diversity of tones Joe presents on this CD. Buy it! Enjoy it!

Good selection of music and dvds I have been to several best buys thru out the country and find what I am looking for I bought a hp desk top last year had 1 issue with your gel the salesman was unsure if I could add ram I had to explain that it will except upgrades he needs more computerus training although no harm done now he knows for future customers request

Bonamassa always knows how to play the blues. That much is obvious, but some people like myself do not care for his singing capabilities. Well he must have been practicing or seeing a vocal coach because this album is awesome musically and vocally. Plus this version has bonus tracks only available at Best Buy. You can't go wrong with this CD.

Joe Bonamassa is one of the best guitar players you never heard of. I was introduced his music a little over a year ago and have been collecting it ever since. This latest effort shows an artist that is maturing, growing, and getting better yet. If you're a fan of blues or rock I think you will enjoy this cd.

Joe Bonamassa is a child prodogy and great current guitarist. Recently performed on Conan and up and coming star to be appreciated for his acceptional talent. I'm mostly into classic rock, blues and sometimes in the mood for funk. The guy does it all in my opinion and I'm really picky when it comes to music.

BEST JOE yet, a different album than Joe has done, tuneful, soul sounding, employs horns, his voice is maturing nicely, great guitar licks, rhythm section is in tune, locked in, great disc, a must for motoring long distances or cranking it up to begin your weekend, JOE GO!

I had a lot of anticipation for this CD because I'm a Bonamassa fan. Although the music isn't bad on Joe's latest, it didn't meet my expectations based on his last several CDs. Different Shades of Blue has a jazzier sound that I don't care that much for. I prefer more of a rock/blues sound so this one killed my excitement. I will keep listening to see if the songs grow on me.

Joe Bonamassa is one of the "young guns" of guitar players that has actually been around for quite a while. He's an awesome blues guitarist and vocalist. Buy any of his CD's if you're a blues fan and you won't go wrong!

I've been a big fan of Joe Bonamassa from the start. I haven't stopped listening to this CD since I bought it. If you haven't been listening to Joe, this would be a great disk to start out with - it won't disappoint!
