Songs like Oh Beautiful! and Never Give all Your Heart are obvious standouts. Anton Fig (drums) stands out on this album, especially on Love Ain't a Long Song and Trouble Town. If you're a fan of Joe's more traditional blues songs, this album was plenty of them in Living on the Moon and I Gave Up Everything for you, 'Cept the Blues and So, What Would I Do which sports a slow Ray Charles-esque 12/8 feel. Bought this album from Best Buy (hard to find in stores, by the way) for the bonus tracks. Scarlet Town is a slow grinder and a bit monotonous, Better the Devil You Know and Black Irish Eyes are great tracks. All in all, it took a few spins, but I've come to really enjoy this album.

Another smoking album from Joe Bonamassa. Again as usual Joe puts out his best. Going from the 3 piece band to adapting to a full orchestra. Joe never fails to try the boundaries between rock and blues. I expect nothing less from the best guitar player since his opening for BB King at age 12. Joe never fails to disappoint

This cd will get you up an moving, then let you chill a while then get you rocking again. A wonderful listening experience, A mix of powerful rock kind of blues, sweet blues, and of course, awesome guitar riffs. Play it loud and a good one for repeat play.
