Xenoverse is all around a decent dbz game that can forsure get boring at time. It’s more of the 1st one with the visuals pretty identical as well. Visuals are pretty to look at but controls are story can get pretty bland. Overall a decent entry

This game gets very repetitive although it is fun. it controls okay on the switch but I've played it on other systems and it controls much better over there. If you are a dragon Ball z fan you will most likely love it.

In terms of whether the game plays well, don't fret. The Switch version is competent, and when it comes to the bits where performance matters (the fights) it runs well. The main hub area looks pretty bland and runs badly by comparison, but considering how there is no danger there, it's not much of a factor. It's mostly a glorified menu. If you enjoy DBZ, there's tons of fanservice here in terms of playable characters and the like. As a game, it's an ok beat-em-up that I didn't find super fun, so I ended up returning it. If you are looking for a great DBZ game, get Dragon Ball FighterZ.

I haven't really played the game that long so I can't really go to in depth. You get to customize a character and play through a story mode. It seemed like a pretty big hub world but I didn't get a chance to battle yet, I only played like 30 mins so far.

I love Dragon Ball the anime, so I took a chance on this one with the understanding that I would have three dimensional fighting with all the characters at different parts of the cartoon. That turned out to be exactly what this games offers. The visuals are great, but I struggled a lot with the controls. I would say this game has a steeper learning curve than I'm used to, but for more pro gamers, especially for lovers of the show, I would say take a chance.

The game is fun with exciting characters to meet and a plethora of play styles to customize. I wish that the game was open world though, seeing that we have such a powerful system (Switch) to play on.
