We purchased this game for my son and he is loving it!

I didn't play the first, but I knew the premise of it. The artstyle is really good, and on the switch I had no problems with it, which is nice for a game being ported from more powerful devices. As much as I love fighting games, taking a break and being an open world (and a good one at that) is a much welcomed change of pace.

Great game. Lots of fun. It is like playing the show.

I was hesitant to purchase Xenoverse 2 and trying out the first one but this turned out much better than I expected. The only downsides are that the game has significant slowdown when you're in town, the graphics aren't as sharp as other versions and for some reason Namco locked the 60FPS to 1on1 fights in certain quests (not sure if it also applies to VS.), which can be quite jarring as it goes from 30FPS to 60FPS then back to 30FPS after. You can also download the story mode from the first game for free, as well as the ability to unlock all characters right off the bat. All other DLC is for sale however. All in all though a pretty solid game, especially if you're a DB fan.

Great game highly recommend. Create a character to fight along side all the DBZ favorites and be a memeber of time patrol. What I like is this wasn’t a pure fightning game. Good story

Its worth the time to play this dragon ball game. It's fun and has more to offer than the first xenoverse game. But if you're not caught up in Super, it can be a spoiler if you play it.

Always and forever will be a dragon ball fan. I heard this was coming to switch and I instantly bought it. I love that the store has a free pack to unlock characters! Especially for us that have already beat this game to death on other systems. It’s a great fighter to have

I've only owned the game for about a week now but I've put several hours into playing it. This game is my first Dragon Ball based game ever. I was going to get XV1 after seeing the reviews but never did and when this game came out on Switch I knew I had to have it sometime. The game has a lot to it at first and understanding some of it can be confusing but the longer you play the more you can figure things out. I haven't played anything online yet but there's a lot of online opportunities as well as a ton of offline options. There is DLC with the game but I don't know if I'll ever purchase it or not.

This game is very grindy but very fun. I got hook more than I thought I would. I really enjoyed this game although it is really inconsistent with its frame rate, some times it seems to be running at 60 FPS and other times around 30 and hub world below 30.

Love the storyline. Ties into Dragonball itself. What gets me is that when the characters wants to thank your avatar for helping them, your avatar vanishes at the wrong moment, leaving the character you helped wondering if they were dreaming lol Technically, they were. I mean, you're just traveling back in time to correct the timeline and make sure nothing gets screwed up along the way. The gameplay is awesome and the fact that if you're a Saiyan, you can turn into a Super Saiyan once you hit level 40 is even better.
