I miss dragon ball z tenkaichi
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. There is too much story. You have to talk to everyone, and it does not tell you where to go. It starts by saying go to the building with the light blue roof. Really just put an x on the map for me to locate! I won’t be keeping this.

Very slow game
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. It's an ok game but the gameplay gets repetitive. The overworld music gets very annoying, I had to turn it off. The fights are ok but you can also just button smash and almost get the same result as doing combos.

An adequate game for a DBZ fan; otherwise skip
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. In terms of whether the game plays well, don't fret. The Switch version is competent, and when it comes to the bits where performance matters (the fights) it runs well. The main hub area looks pretty bland and runs badly by comparison, but considering how there is no danger there, it's not much of a factor. It's mostly a glorified menu. If you enjoy DBZ, there's tons of fanservice here in terms of playable characters and the like. As a game, it's an ok beat-em-up that I didn't find super fun, so I ended up returning it. If you are looking for a great DBZ game, get Dragon Ball FighterZ.

Fun Experience for DBZ Fan
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is fun with exciting characters to meet and a plethora of play styles to customize. I wish that the game was open world though, seeing that we have such a powerful system (Switch) to play on.

Better for older players
||Posted . Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed. This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I purchased this game after my boys played it a ta friend's house. The reason for the lower rating is that we have been unable to figure out how to actually play the game. My oldest (8 years) finally gave up as it was not enjoyable to spend so much time trying to get it going. Most likely this is a great game for those kids who are a bit older or who have an older sibling who can help them navigate the game setup and play early-on.

Really boring
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Your created character is the main focus and it’s not entertaining at all, lucky there is a way to play as the z fighters but u have to play the terrible story as your created character

Not bad just not great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Overall wasn't as good as I thought based on reviews. The lobby where you navigate your character to talk to people slows down the action. As a fighting game fan more than a Dragonball fan this was frustrating. The 3d action was OK, but have to constantly fly after your opponent was annoying and so were the precise motions needed to do combos. If Dragonball is your thing and you like fighitng games like Street Fighter and Marvel vs Capcom then go with Dragonball Fighter Z.

Decent.
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Its an mmo but with DBZ. It's alright but seems a bit......un MMO like. Once you beat the story, there arent enough players to do anything really.

Not for everyone
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Seems like it could be a really deep game to experience. Doesn’t do enough in the beginning to make it worth the while.

If you love Dragon ball and your nintendo switch
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I guess get this game. Visuals are better dock then hand held mode. Way to many jaggies in hand held mode.

Had potential
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The game is a bit clunky and the story mode drones on forever before you actually get too do anything
