Some days I turn it on and it is fine - other days, the screen flashes on and off. If I unplug it and replug it in, it is OK for a few more days. Tried another HDMI cable that I forgot I had and there are no issues. . .

I am using this cable to connect my laptop to HDTV. A couple of months it worked well. Post that the cable started not working well and now it is completely not working. There port is having a green colour dust whenever I am using it. I have to clean it every time using a brush and then it works for some time before the dust forms again. I will go for a better quality cable next time.
