Good suction, but hose hard to work with and plastic is cheap...

Wow what great suction. We had an older Dyson that we had for 15 years. It still works but it was time for a new one. We got a great deal on this for Black Friday. This vacuum picked up things that our other Dyson did not. With a few animals in our house (2 and 4 legged) this was needed!

I love this vacuum. It adjusts from carpeting to tile to wood flooring with ease. Self contained hose allows for easy clean up in corners or edges. The only drawback is the ball shape doesn't allow it to maneuver under furniture. You need to move the furniture to vacuum underneath. Otherwise a great product. We've had it for 6 months now with no issues.

Our 7 year old Dyson called it quits. I’m a very heavy user of vacuums and to get 7 years I’m impressed. I pulled the band-aid off and bought this Dyson. I used this vacuum almost daily and still works great.

This is my 2nd Dyson. My first, bought 20 years ago, is still going strong. I just wanted a second one for the office. Don't hesitate to buy--Dyson is the brand that all the others want to be!

My wife asked for a vacuum for her birthday, I was very skeptical about giving this to her for this occasion, after all, "Never Give Your Wife An Appliance For Birthdays Or Christmas". Well she absolutely loves her vacuum, in fact the Roomba rarely runs anymore because she enjoys vacuuming so much !!!

Everything about this vacuum is top of the line. Only complaint I have is the release and close method for starting to use the vacuum and then standing it back up when finished does not always latch and stay. So sometime you have to fight with it a little to make it stay standing up.

As always, Dyson has made a great machine. Nothing negative to mention. Competitive pricing and does the job. Our previous Dyson was still working after 15 years, so hoping this one will be just as much of a workhorse.

This sucks, in a very good way. I have two long hair cats, this is a challenge to keep the house clean. This Dyson does an amazing job. It was a little frighting when I vacuumed the house with the old vacuums right before I used this new one. The old one did a horrible job. Well worth the money!

Not worth the money. Suction is great - attachments are not and the useful ones (for me) don't attach to the vacuum so I have to grab them each time I vacuum. Where the other (less useful) attachments do attach to the vacuum, the piece broke off in less than a year. It is a little heavy and can be difficult to maneuver, very hard to push against thicker carpet. It constantly falls down when you try to stand it up for a minute/after vacuuming. For me, I would prefer my previous Shark that was half the cost and eventually will return to that brand. I really wanted to like this investment but it just hasn't lived up to its hype!

We have 2 dogs and a cat. This does amazing picking up hair and keeps our floors clean. I also have two small children constantly on the floor playing and they rarely have pet hair on them! We have medium pile upstairs, hardwood on the main floor, and short pile in the basement. Handles them all like a champ! Only wish it were a bit lighter

Purchased this for my daughter-in-law and the comments back were just as amazing as I’d hoped. I’ve had nothing but Dyson for past 15 years or so. Cost more initially but the life is much longer and so much more effective it is more than worth it.

Suction on this vacuum is unmatched. I have two big dogs and two long haired cats and am a clean freak so I need a good vacuum. I bought this for my upstairs and now I'm going to replace my downstairs vacuum with this one as well.

Great vacuum! Dyson is a great company. Hands down.

lighter to use than previous unit but not as good on pickup

I really like this product, it has power, ability to Move around furniture due to the design. Also It is great for carpet and flooring. It is costly but an investment. I was amazed how much dirt and dust it collected. I give this Dyson 5 stars!

I love it, love it, love it!! It does what it says. The cord is super long and I am able to vacuum almost my whole apartment from one outlet. Easy to use. Easy to assemble.
